Birthdaycard with Kenny K

I have another card to show you tonight.
A card very different from what I normally make, but I had real fun trying something different :)
I made this one last Sun-/Monday, after seeing Kenny K's latest Sketch-challenge.
I coloured this image a long time ago, with ProMarkers.
The colours used are, most likely, Warm Grey 1-5 - and the blender...
On the wings I put on some Glitterstickles.
The black embossed background is a coca-cola-can. Cut, washed, embossed and coloured in with Adirondack Alcohol Ink (Pitch Black).
If you look very closely you can see the twine I've wrapped around the tinpanel, and if you look even closer you might see that it is deep purple.
The textured paper, that looks grey in the picture, actually is a light, dustpurple colour. Not very different from the halfbeads.
And finally I found use of the silvercoloured holographic "paper" I bought a long, long time ago.
(I have a huge folder filled with "strange/ funny papers". Seeing through them, I can't understand why on earth I bought them and it will probably will take me a lifetime to use them. But then, once in a while, like now, they are quite handy :) )
I used a bit of the same DP (Rusty Pickle Pirate Princess) on the front as I used inside the card.
I inked the edges of the DPwith DistressInk BlackSoot.
The sentiment is stamped and embossed on a scalloped circle punched out of the DP(Marvy Uchida 1 1/2" scalloped punch).

The inside:
DP as front. Die Cuts from Kort&Godt. Swirls stamped with Inkadinkado Clearstamps (98977).
Edges inked with DistressInk BlackSoot.
I'll send the card to these challenges(, and cross my fingers that they'll like it):
Kenny K's Krafty Krew #128 - Get Sketchy 2!
Digistamps 4 Joy #59 - Anything Goes
Tiddly Inks #102 - Wings

Christmas Giftbag

Over at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge the theme this week is Nativity.
A great chance to use some of the Magnoliastamps from the Nativitycollection I bought before christmas.
I think they're sooo cute! And I love to colour and make little scenes with them.
So, I've used them to make a giftbag for christmas.
These three are coloured with DistressMarkers and -reinkers.
I put on a little glitter on the glories and on the angels wings.
Papers used are from PionDesign.
I simply LOVE their papers, the soft, shady colours, the prints - and the thickness is so good to work with.
The paperedges areinked, both on DPs and images.
I've used Martha Stewarts Floral Wine Deep Edge Punch on the "lid" of the bag.
Behind the images on the bag I used MS Cherish PATP-set.
The Holly"swirl"-die is from Marianne Design.
Laces, halfbeads, a charm and a pin are other embelli'es I've put on.
Oh, and of course some cheesecloth...
To close the bag I've used magnets hidden underneath the DPs.

Here's the back of the giftbag. Papers from Pion here too. The postcards and stamps are cut out of a Pionpaper.
The postalstamps are from Kort&Godt.
I'll send the christmasgiftbag to the following challenges:
Marvelous Magnolia #12 - Anything Goes
MDUC #181 - Wings
Crafty Creations #207 - Anything But a Card
Party Time Tuesdays #105 - Anything Goes
Corrosive Challenges #166 - Put a Pin In It

Letter-Set with Pion papers

I have made a letter-set, you know, like the one we used in "the good old days", when we wrote "real letters", that we put a stamp on and posted in red boxes
;)
I have used designpapers from Pion Design. The papers are from different collections, but I think they fit lovely together though.
The image is "Love is in the air"-Tilda from Magnolias With Love-collection.
I coloured the image with Distress reinkers.
The tag is made with a Magnolia DooHickey. I stamped on different stamps from Kort&Godt.
Around the panel behind the image I used Martha Stewarts Vintage Floral PATP-set.
The paperedges are inked with DistressInk (Gathered Twigs)
The flowers originally had a very light beige colour, but after a little Glimmermistspraying (Vintage Pink and Tattered Rose) I think they got a perfect shade. The seembindingribbon were coloured with the same Glimmermistcolours plus a very little touch of Coffee Shop).
I don't know what those swirly things are called, but I think they are soo cute.
And of course I had to use a little cheesecloth and some laces ;)

Inside the "folder" I made a little pocket to put envelopes in.
On the other inside I attached a lined writingbook (had to cover the ugly front with some lovely papers and a couple of "postcards".

I decorated the front of the envelopes too:
(The envelopeedges got a little brush with DistressInk Gathered Twigs too)

I'll enter the letter-set into these challenges:
Kort o Mania  #78 - Skisse (Sketch)
NSHK #68 - Alt er Lov  (Anything Goes)
Inky Chicks #2 - Bingo (Die Cuts/ Image/ Flowers)
Card and Scrap #47 - Brug Punch (Use a Punch)
Deep Ocean #44 - Love and Lace

Wintercoloured ChocolateCard

It is true! A little attention and positive feedback on our creative work really makes the creativity flow!
I'm bubbling with creativity now!
And, I've been thinking about it now; I have to be much better commenting other, fellow crafters work!

Well, on to my latest finished project:
I have made another chocolatecard, this time with a winterdressed Tilda and winterlike decorated.
The DP is from Little Yellow Bicycle - really cute, isn't it???
The image is coloured with DistressMarkers and -reinkers.
I masked the image when I inked the background and sprayed some Glimmermist on it.
All paperedges are inked with DistressInk Gathered Twigs.
The dies used are Magnolia DooHickeys (the tag and the trees), the Swirls are from My Favourite Things.
The Snowflakes are cut with a Tonicpunch, and have got rhinestones in the centers.
Other things used are cheesecloth, laces, ribbon, charm (snowflake), teenytiny white halfbeads (around the image) and a pin (I have put an end on the pin after taking the picture, when I noticed that I'd forgotten it (noticed it the hard way...)
Here's the inside, with place for a chocolatebar (a "Firkløver" would fit perfect, both in size and colours).
I used the back of the DP on one of the insides.
To close the "card" I've put magnets under the DPs.
Next picture shows the "card" folded out:
Here are the list of challengeblogs I'll send my Winterdecorated Chocolatecard to:
Midweek Magnolias #45 - Anything Goes
Magnolia-Licious Challenge - Inspiration Picture
Lovely hÄnglar or sweet Magnolia #61 - Ribbon or Lace

Thank You ChocolateCard

Good evening to you all.
I'm still over myself with joy after some of my cardprojects made with Ooh La La Creations latest CD "Yesterdays Memories" were shown at Create and Craft TV earlier today - isn't that the greatest?!!?
And I was able to see it on my Ipad - one just have to love these new "I-things"...

To calm down after the show, I sat down to finish this chocolatecard.
I've used papers from Pion, in purplepinkish and browntones. The cardstock (Bazzill) is a strange greypurpletone, that I found could go with these papers.
The Magnoliaimage is coloured with DistressMarkers and -reinkers.
On the edge I used the Martha Stewart Heart Chain edge punch.
Under the image I put two labels from a Pionpaper. I also used a Magnolia DooHickey Tag, some cheesecloth, lace, flowers, quite a few pink rhinestones.
On the Spellbinderslabel and the cheesecloth I sprayed a little Glimmermist (Vintage Pink).
The tiny little hearts (glued on the flowerwires) have got a layer of Glitterstickles (Cotton Candy).
The sentiment Takk ("Thank You") is a stamp from Stempelglede.

The next picture shows the front and back of the "card":

Here's the inside of the card, perfect place for a chocolatebar (funny enough I couldn't find any cocolatebars... wonder where they'd gone...)
I'll send my ChocolateCard to these challenges:
Totally Tilda #64 - Photo Inspiration
Midweek Magnolias #45 - Anything Goes
Inky Chicks #2 - Bingo (Die Cuts, Image, Flowers)

OLL DT Wheely Good

Good Monday morning everybody!
Today it's time for a new challenge over at Ooh La La.
This time our theme is "Wheely Good", and isn't Santa on his MC just perfect for the theme?
Though we've just finished last christmas, I don't feel it's too early to start planning this years - almost suddenly it's christmas again...
In Ooh La Las Online Craft Shop you can find lots af CDs with great artwork, and for all artwork there are perfect matching papers. Isn't that great!?!

Inside the card I've used coordinating papers as well. I had to stamp the greeting (Kort & Godt) on white cardstock. I stamped on red background first, but felt it didn't show well enough, so I chose white instead.
The same ribbon is used both on front and inside.

Here's the back of the card. I only used a paper with a print much the same as the frontside-image.
Beautiful, isn't it?
Now, hop on over to Ooh La La Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the DT have made, lots of wonderful projects are waiting there to inspire you to join in

:)

Recipe-book

For the prize-money from Hjertebodens Juleblogg I bought some of the new Magnoliastamps.
I think this one, Tilda with Love Cake, is just perfect on the cover of a Recipe-book.
The image is coloured with Distress-Markers and -refills.
This is one of the first images I coloured after I received my Italeri-brushes, and I think my colouring have gotten a little bit better with those...
I used dies from Magnolia, Spellbinders and My Favorite Things, and Martha Stewarts Vintage Floral PATP-set. The little stampimages on the tag are from Crafty Secrets. Flowers are from Kort&Godt.
The little things sticking out underneath the flowers are flowerstamens I usually use making flowers for cakes.
I put some cheesecloth under the image.
And, of course, all paperedges are brushed over with DistressInk WalnutStain.
Around the image I dotted on some tiny Liquid Pearls (White Opal).
How hard I've tried I can't remember where the DP's are from...

So; here's the front of the book - I tried to not put on too much "things", after all it IS a book I plan to USE:
I used the same paper on front and back of the book:

I'll send my recipe-book to these challenges:
Simply Magnolia - Yummy Food
Totally Tilda #63 - Tilda in Trousers
Panduro Hobby - Alt er Tilladt (Anything Goes)

BIG news from me today!
At the end of last year I was invited to join the Fahionista Challenge DT!!!
Can you imagine the excitement, happiness and pride I felt???
It haven't really been a secret, and I've already put the DT-button in my blog, but i didn't want to share it before today, together with Fashionista Challenge #11, wich is "RED"

For this challenge one of our sponsors are VannaBea Creations , so this is where my image is from.
Isn't she just lovely??? And so fun to colour! With this one I'm back to my colourpencils again.
Haven't used those for quite a long time I have to admit some images went in the bin before I felt satisfied...
For the fur-settings on the coat I used Crushed Velvet Bon Bon Flock.
Papers used on this card is from Marianne Design - RED winterpapers! Aren't they just yummi!
(The red-colour in the card is actually much more red than it appears in this photo).

Now, pop over to the Fashionista Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the girls have mad to inspire you to join our

OLL DT Birthday

Good morning to you all.
Monday morning, and time for a new challenge at Ooh La La Challenge Blog.
This fortnight we have an easy theme for you, it's Birthday!
Didn't I say easy?!?
I guess many of you already are planning and making some of this years birthdaycards for friends and family, so hop on over to OLLCB to get inspiriration and join our challenge.

My card is made using image and papers from the Boys To Men CD.
You can find this and many more in OLLs Online Craft Shop.
In the shop you can find lots of fun stuff, Free samples and Digital Downloads, as well.
(But of course; you do not have to use images and papers from OLL to join in, I just wanted to tell you about it...)
Well, back to the card:
I've used Martha Stewarts Cherish PATP-set making the panels. All edges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain. The Birthdaygreeting is from Imaginisce. Finally I put on a bow and a footballcharm - and done, ready to use for a little birthdayboy :)

Happy Birthday

 Hello again
Tonight I'm here to show you a birthdaycard I've just made. "Just made" doesn't mean that the glue has just dried, it means it's something I've done over the last days...
I'm still practising with DistressInks and -Markers.
DPs on this card are from Magnolia, as is the image.
The dies I used are also from Magnolia, and the punch is Martha Stewarts Vintage Floral PATP-set.
The edges are inked with DistressInk OldPaper.
I put on quite many light blue rhinestones and used glitterstickles on the flowers.
Underneath the image I tucked a little cheesecloth. The stitches around the image is handsewn (!)

Inside the card I used the papers as on the outside. Greetingpanels are made with the same punchset as used on outside. The sentiment is from Kreativ Hobby.

I found inspiration in these challengeblogs:

CLP #54 - Sketch
Tilda's Town - Anything Goes
MDUC #178 - Anything Goes
Dream Valley - Anything Goes
Totally Gorjuss - Anything Goes With Ribbon
Papirdokkene - Jente/ Jentete (Girl/ Girly)
 Crafty Catz - Anything Goes

Paper Pretties - Bling

Calendar

Hi again :)
I have to post this calendar I made some days ago (finished it on January 3rd, as you may have guessed).
I've wanted to make one of these calendars for some time, but haven't bothered doing the maths to find wich numbers to put on wich cubes 'till now...
I found I haven't been using this image for a long time, so I wanted to use it now. The papers I had that went best with it, is from Bildmålarna (I had to colour Tilda in blueish clothes, didn't I???)
The image is coloured with Pro- and FlexMarkers.

If you wonder, the numbers on the cubes are:
Cube 1: 0,1,2,3,4 and 5
Cube 2: 6,7,8,0,1 and 2
(6 is used as 9 too)

The first challenges I'll join in 2013 are these:
Totally Tilda #62 - Tilda's Calendar
MDUC #178 - Anything Goes
Tilda's Town #34 - Anything Goes

I love your visits and comments, so welcome back.

My TOP 10-list

Tha last days I've seen lots of you girls been posting your TOP 10 lists, so the last three nights I've been looking through everything I've made the last year and found my TOP 10.
It's not the necessary cards I've won any challenges with, it's the cards I myself like the best, and had most fun, (or hardest times :s ) making.
Lots of Magnolias in my favourite-list, I admit that, and mostly christmascards. I think Magnolias are soooo cute, and christmas is my absolute favourite time of the year

for this one I'm quite proud of the folding and "secret" texts.
You can find the blogpost with it here

I was so happy and satisfied with myself when I had finished this card, with Tilda "under water":

I love the effect of crackled glass on this christmastag:

Here's one of the latest christmastags; you can see I love dies :)

This is one of my absolute favourites from last year. I LOVE Magnolias Nativity Collection.
All images are painted with DistressInks (refills and markers) - beginning to get a grip on it now, but still a long way to go...:

My Pop-up-card.
I spent sooo much time making it, both with colouring and attaching all images and pieces, that this on is a "keeper":

The Napkinfolding must be one of the most elegant folding-techniques, and perfect for weddingcards:

Painting Rudolph was difficult! Many attempts went in the bin before I managed one that I was satisfied with:

I may have mentioned it once or twice the last year; I think blue and white christmascards are really sweet:

Why is this quite ordinary card on my TOP 10-list?
I simply LOVE this image (free with a magazine!).
Hollie Hobbie was a huge figure when I was a little girl, so I think it's out of nostalgy that I came back to this card all the time I spent looking through last years files:

My paper-related new years resolutions must be:
* Using more different stampbrands - but NO WAY I'll put away my beloved Magnolias!
* Be better at making Boys-cards
* Keep my workdesk tidy(er)
*Be a little more active blogger

So, to break the first resolution immediately, I'll hop over to Hjerteboden to spend the giftcardprice I won on stamps from the new Magnolia-collection :D

Thanks for visiting
Let's have a jolly good papercraftingyear together
