Birthdaycard

I have tried to make a girliy, shabby chic/ vintage-styled birthdaycard - I'm not quite sure I've succeeded with the plan I had when I started, but this is how it turned out.
I even made a matching envelope for it :D
I used a digital image, bought from Funky Kits some time ago. I think Grace standing is absolutely adorable. I'm quite satisfied with the colouring on this one (ProMarkers, of course), so I figure she can't be difficult colouring ;)
I used two DPs from MajaDesign. The paper with the butterflypattern was a piece I've had laying around for ages, never finding the right use for it - until now, when I used it as backing of the image, and cut some butterflies out of it. I glittered these butterflies before I attached them to the card.
I've also used some dies to cut different swirls and the insidepanels.
All edges are distressed, and I used the sewingmachine on the edges of the panels on the frontside of the card.
Here's the inside. I used two different Martha Stewart Butterflypunches.
The textstamp is from Kreativ Hobby and the swirlstamps are from Autumn Leaves.
The back of the card; can it be made simpler...

Now; the challenges I put my card into:
CLP Challenge Blog - Sketch
Charisma Cardz Challenges - Vintage
Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog - It's All About the Girls!
One Stitch At A Time - Anything Goes

Girly Birthday-Giftbag with Pink Polkadots

It's Friday and we have a new challenge for you over at Fussy and Fancy.
This time we want to see Polka Dots - the DOTS can be on your paper, ribbons, buttons, flowers, images - wherever :D
I have made (what I think is) a really girly giftbag - with the dots on the papers (from Panduro), and on the ribbons (Panduro those too).
For the panel behind the image (SugarNellie) and the tags I used my brand new Spellbinderdie - have a feeling it may become a favourite for a while...
I've kept everything in pink shades here (It IS for a GIRL!).
The backside of the bag is made using the same sketch (Sunday Sketch & Stamp). Here I've stamped on a simple greeting (this stamp came with a magazine a long time ago, and I really like it).
Now - click over to Fussy and Fancy, to check out and join our new challenge :D

I'll also enter my Pink Girly Giftbag into these challenges:
Sunday Sketch & Stamp - Donnas Sketch
Crazy4Challenges - A Child's Birthday Card
Stamptaular Sunday - Seeing Spots
Simon Says Stamp! - Anything Goes
Little Darlings - Polka Dots
DYSU - Ribbons
Charisma Cardz - Pretty in Pink
Scrap'a'Long - Anything Goes

Red and Green Christmascard

Here comes the card I made in more "proper" christmascolours (Hedda was very pleased with this one).
Again I used the sketch from Sketchy Colors latest challenge.
The image is also on this card from Sugar Nellie, this one is Winifred, bought at Funky Kits.
And again coloured with ProMarkers.
I think these girls are simply irresistible!
I used dies from Spellbinders (Classic Ovals and Fancy Tags) and Nellies Multiframes (MFD 007).
The hollys made with a punch (of unknown producer) and some red halfbeads.
I put on three poinsettias (the colours of them were sooo perfect for this card, I just HAD to use them).
The sentiment on the frontside is from Ladybug and Friends (I love those tiny greetings), inside I used a stamp from Norsk Stempelblad (21B).
To finish it off, I sprayed the whole card Glimmermist (Dazzling Diamonds) - I just sprayed into the air and put the card through the light shower, that gave the card a very gentle glittery touch :)
Before I write a list over challenges I'll send this card into, I'll put in a few more pictures:

First the card standing upright:
Inside the card - simple, with a greeting on the upper part, and place to write that personal greeting on the lower part (I sprayed the inside too with glimmermist):
A close-up showing the supercute Winifred
(this picture also gives a little show of the glimmermist
- AND - can you see she's got teenytiny beads on her shoes - LOL)

Now; here are the challenges I'll enter with my more traditional christmascard:
Sketchy Colors - Sketch
Marianne Design - Traditional Christmas Card
Charisma Cardz - Cutesy
C.R.A.F.T. Challenges - Cute

Christmascard in Non-traditional Colours

Sketchy Colors have an absolutely lovely sketch out - again!

I loved working with this one.

I decided I'd try to make a christmascard in other colours than the traditional red, green and gold-colours, AND to keep it clean and simple - but still try to give it a christmaslook.

So, I chose green and pink for the maincolors.

The image is Victoria Standing, one of Sugar Nellie's newest digistamps, bought at Funky Kits. Isn't she just adorable???

I coloured her with ProMarkers in pink, green and beigetones - colours I picked up from the designpapers (a 6x6" paperpad I've had for years)
I, myself, was quite pleased with how it turned out...

...so, as Hedda, later that day, came into my room I was SO excited to hear what she thought (of course she had to like it, I figured...)

She was terrified that I even thought of calling it a christmascard - the colours were all wrong (Pink is NOT a christmascolour!) It had far too little decorations and bling and stash - it doesn't even have any glitter on(!)

This was all wrong, and I had to make a new, proper christmascard!

(Of course i did it, and will show that card later today :) )

Well, I think it's cute, and have decided to play in these challenges with my pink christmascard:
Sketchy Colors - Sketch

Charisma Cardz - Cutesy

C.R.A.F.T. Cahllenge - Cute

Here's the card from some different angles:

Inside the card, clean, simple and cute ;)
Here's a close-up, showing Victoria Standing - there are three more new lovely digi-girls in the Funky Kits-shop.

Christmas Card

This post will have to be done in a hurry, as I'm rather late for the latest challenge at
Sketch Saturday, where I found the sketch I used for this christmascard.
Isn't Grace standing from SugarNellie (bought at Funky Kits) the cutest digistamp ever!
I think she's so adorable, standing there, shy and wondering - I really want to put my arms around her and give her a warm hug...

With the card I made an envelope, after the same sketch, but without the image.
I've used papers from Papirdesign, Kaiserkraft and one that I can't find the brand of (have lots of that kind...). All edges are distressed before the panels are sewn down.
The swirls are made with Spellbindersdies, and covered with Glossy Accents.
I used some red blingstones and attached a charm to one of the bows.
Before showing the rest of the pictures I'll make a list of which challenges I tried to combine my card for:
Sketch Saturday - Sketch
I love ProMarkers - Ain't it cute
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge - You Choose!
Nordsalten Hobbyklubb - Digistempel

Now, the rest of the pictures, first the frontside...
...then the insides - a bit simpler, but with the same paper and style, and with a text from Kort&Godt

and a close-up of the supercute Grace (love her!)

Notebookcover

I have made myself a notebookcover. I have to admit that I sometimes have to write things down to remember them, so this one I keep at my kitchentable :)
Inside the cover. To the left I've made a pocket where I can put "notes to keep", to the right I have a "replaceable" notebook.
Here you can see how the notebook is to be fastened.

Two birthdaycards

Two of the girls in Sanders class are celebrating their birthdays right now.
I thought that the cards couldn't be too different when two girls are celebrating together, so I used the same sketch making the cards.
The sketch is Friday Sketchers #147.
The images are not the same, but both are from Sugar Nellie - aren't they just lovely!
I bought mine from Funky Kits.
Both cards are easelcards, one in different violet colours and the other in pink shades.
Cupcake Craft Challenges wants Monochromatic cards this week, so I'll enter there with this card, as well :)
I'll also enter challenge 144 at A Spoon Full of Sugar. They wants to see Ribbon, Pearls/ Rhinestones and Flowers on the cards - all those things I love to use, so this one is for them too :)
Scrap'a'long Utfordringsbloggs challenge #3 is "Bursdag" (Birthday). Scrap'a'long is a wonderful, new challengeblog, and I'd love to play along there :)
The last challenge I'll enter is Kort o Manias challenge, which is to use dies and/or punches. I've used Martha Stewart edge punch on the panels on the outside, and Marvy Uchida scalloped circles in two sizes inside the card (doesn't show very well in the picture).

Here I've opened the card, and you can see the paperclip where some money can be fastened (she told me that money was what she wanted for her birthday...)

Materials used for the violet card:
Cardstock: Bazzill Canvas and Dots
DP: Karen Marie Klip Lilac Notes, Glitterpaper from either Panduro or Nille
Stamp: SugarNellie "Connie" Digistamp, Text and frame I think are from Kreativ Hobby
Colors: ProMarkers
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Colorbox Pink Pastel
Flowers: Papirdesign
Martha Stewart edge punch, Scalloped circle punches from Marvy Uchida
Organza ribbon, Rhinestones, pearls, heartshaped paperclip

I made the pink card using the same sketch, and the same DP for the bottom panel, but in a pink shade here.
The stamp here is "Grace standing" - have you seen such an adorable girl!!! I love her!
