Anonyme Timeglass 1

I have joined Anonyme Scrapperes challenge Anonyme Timeglass. Every second day we'll get a new challenge untill we've completed 4 challenges. The theme is "Ikke Kvadratisk eller rektangulært" (Not Square or Rectangular). The first challenge is "Detaljer" (Details), and we have to use Lace/ Ribbon + Pearls + Paint/ Mist - I think I've used it all :)
I used an old wooden basket my mother should throw away (originally bought at Nille, with some really hideous flowers in!)
I washed it, painted it white, put on some white cardstock, distressed the edges, put on more paint. Then I cut four pieces of designpaper, that I inkdistressed the edges on (DistressInk WalnutStain) and brushed on a little white Gesso. Then I glued the pieces onto the basket. At the bottomedge I attached a lace. On two of the corners I glued down halfpearls, on the other two corners I put on some flowers (Prima Botanical Mix, a touch of Gesso on those too), and white and pink pearlstrings.
On top of the handle I tied a white satinribbon, and used two laceribbons at each side of the basket.
The butterflies are punched with my most used Martha Stewart punch (Monarch Butterfly Large), the edges on them are inked, then I put on some mist, but didn't find them glittery enough, so I had to squeese on some GlitterStickles (Diamond)...
Inside I put to glasses (last years fleamarket-finds), tied white ribbons around them - and it's finished :)
 Picture showing the "backside":
Now I have put pens and pencils, and other things the kids need when they do their homework, in it:

I'll also join Card and Scraps Challenge #40 "Brug Bånd/ Blonder" (Use Ribbons/ Lace), and hope they'll like it.

Thanks a lot for your stay, I hope you've like what you've seen

Schoolbag with Bookmark

The ongoing challenge at Fussy and Fancy Friday is "Back To School".
I hope most of you will join in on this challenge :)
I have made a shcoolbag with a bookmark(card) inside, I hope you'll like it - and will be inspired by it.
Here you can see the bookmark that fits in the schoolbag. Quite simple, but as it is supposed to be put into a book (childrens book) I figured there couldn't be too much "things" on it...
This picture shows the bag with "all pockets" open. If it's used for birthdaygift/ -card, the little pocket in front is perfect for some money :)

Now; do check in on Fussy and Fancys blog to see what the rest of the DT have made to inspire you...

I'll send my schoolbag to Cupcake Craft Challenges, who also has a "Back To School"-challenge this week :)

Blue Easelbox

I made this one a while ago, but have forgotten to show it to you (how I can forget it, as I keep it on the bathshelf, and see it several times each day, and even have the pictures ready, I really don't understand...)
I keep earrings in it - the one we use most every day, and don't bother to run upstairs to the bedroom with everytime we change them ;)
It's made out of 4 matchboxes. I decorated both in- and outside of them. On top I've made a kind of easelcard, where two Tildas dressed in blue, are sitting. Of course they are coloured with ProMarkers.
I decorated it with Flowers, halfbeads, pearlstrings, ribbon, lace and a doily (I think that should be everything :)
And of course I used glitter and Glimmermist...
For handles on the "drawers" I used Tim Holts Hitch Fasteners.
The picture below shows it "from the other side".

I'll enter my Blue Easel Earringbox into the following challenges (and keep my fingers crossed that I've read the rules correct...) :

Sketchy Colors - Shades of Blue
I LOVE ProMarkers - An Easelcard
Sukkersøtt - Monokromatisk
Scrappekammeret - Kammerpikenes Format

Thank you! Bottlegifttag

I was working on a "Thank you"-project when a friend called and asked for a thank-you card, for a gift he'd bought. I put away my own project for this, much more exciting one ;)
The bottle in the picture is not the gift, it's just one of my own I used to take the picture :)
I've used papers from 3ndypapir. The fairy is from the net, I printed it and coloured it with ProMarkers, and put on a little glitter. Everything is distressed and embossed, I also used Glimmermist "randomly" around.
Closeup of the image. This also shows some of the Glimmermist and glitter better :)

I'll enter my bottlegifttag into these challenges:
3ndypapir - Tusen takk
Scrappekammeret - Kammerpikenes Format
Stamp something - Something To Say Thank You
Scrap'a'Long - Anything goes

Christmas Decoration

Oh, I had such a good time making this christmasdecoration - in July, in the summersun... :)
I've used two snowflakes (one leftover from last christmas, and one newly bought), some tiny bells, three christmastreeballs and some rhinestones. The old snowflake is covered in a white, almost fluffy glitterstuff (I have glitter everywhere now...)
The Image is the lovely Tilda from Magnolia, I coloured her with ProMarkers, and added some crystalstickles for the glittereffect.
In the livingroom I have some treebranches that I've painted white. I hung the decoration on the "tree" before I took the pictures - not that it made the pictures any better :(

I'll enter these challenges, and hope they'll like my chrismas decoration:

Totally Tilda # 27 - Christmas Decoration in July
2 Sisters # 49 - Anything Goes
Gingerloft - Make it Sparkle
Cupcake #152 - Shabby Sparkle
Allsorts 113 - Free n Easy
CSAYL - All About You (my favourite colours are White all year long, and red for christmas)
Kort o Mania - Anything Goes
Paper Cutz Challenge # 101 - Anything Goes
Stamp Something - Something Embellished

Birthdaycard with matching Giftbox

Today Hedda were invited to a birthdayparty, and needed a card. Luckily I had this card almost finished. All panels were finished, only to fasten to the cardblank (thats how I work - LOL)
She was very happy that the card had a giftbox that matched, and I hope her old classmate liked it as well...
These papers, mainly from Papirdesign are SO lovely, I love working with them.
I'm afraid I'm one of those who can't resist buying new papers - whenever I find a possibility...
I always try to keep the inside as simple as possible, but still matching to the outside.
When I put too much stash inside I think it tends to get a bit bulky, and difficult to close the card properly...
Here's the card with the matching giftbox. Last weekend I got my hands on the canopener from Tupperware - LOVELY! - it open cans leaving no sharp edges, and with a perfect edge to glue the top (or bottom) back to the box again.
This box held a lipgloss and a pair of earrings :D
...I thought the shimmer and glitter would show better on a close-up, and yes it does, but not as much as I expected it to...

I'll enter this project into these challenges:
Sketchy Colors #77 - Sketch
Saturday Challenge #140 - Embossing
Magnolia Down Under Challenges - Stitching and Swirls
If the Shoe fits...Scrap it! - War of the Roses
Sweet Stampin' - Something Old, Something New (new papers, the textstamp is really old)

I Love ProMarkers #72 - Include Flowers

Notebookcover

I have made myself a notebookcover. I have to admit that I sometimes have to write things down to remember them, so this one I keep at my kitchentable :)
Inside the cover. To the left I've made a pocket where I can put "notes to keep", to the right I have a "replaceable" notebook.
Here you can see how the notebook is to be fastened.
A closeup, of the lovely SugarNellie digistamp "Grace standing"

I'll send my notebookcover to the following challenges:

Easteregg

For easter I made this, rather small, easter-egg.
The egg is painted, then I put on a rosedecorated tissue and coated it with several layers of decoupageglue. After it had dried I decorated it with (a lots of) pearls, feathers, roses, leaves, pearlstrings and beads. The vintagepinkcloloured roses are painted with several layers of GlimmerGlam Glitterpaint, in the colour "chandelier" - a colour that gives almost the glittereffect only.

Before I put this egg away, among the other easterdecorations, I'll send it to the challenges at:

Sukkersøtt #121 - Egg
and
Vintage Udfordring - Lave et påskeprojekt

...and hope that they'll like my easteregg...
:)

Desktopbox with Roses

I've made a desktopbox for Anonyme Scrapperes challenge #20, which sound "Roser" (Roses).

No, it's not my idea, of course it's something I've seen in someone else's blog...

I had, originally, planned to use lots and lots of roses on it, but when I had finished the making and sat down to decorate it, I realized that if I should be able to use it, it would be better to keep the decorations at a minimum. And I already keep it at my worktable, storing my stamped images before I colour them :)
I also plan to make another one, to keep at the computertable, storing small notebook, sticks, and all those small things floating around there...

Materials:

Cardstock: Bazzill
Designpapers: Panduro
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, DistressInk WalnutStain
Textstamp: Storyteller
Ribbons, Eyelets, Roses

Easter Egg

I have also made an easteregg - and it was fun! :)
I painted the egg white, then covered it with a cute, pink napkin from Kremmerhuset.
After drying I decorated the egg with laces, flowers (from Prima), pearlstrings and glitter (of course).
Underneath the egg I glued four beads to make it stand better.
In spite of the lousy pictures , I'll send the egg to the challenges at:

Vintage Udfordring - Lave et påskeprojekt
Scrapperiket - Emballasje
Our Creative Corner - A 3-D Easter Project
C.R.A.F.T Challenge - Easter
Creative Inspirations - Easter!

I hope you like my easter egg :)
Now its time for me to go back to make the picture puzzle (rebus) for the childrens egghunt :)

Beatrix Potter Box with a little Gift

At Let's get shabby they are Beatrix Potter inspired this week, and they certainly gave me the same inspiration. I loved her stories when I was a girl, and now my daughter loves them too :)

I've made a box (ca 9,5 X 12 cm), and decorated it with images from the Tom Kitten story.
I bought a book for Hedda (my daughter) with B. Potter-stories, and - lucky me - that book had a lot of stickers also :D (I had to admit that when I say I bought it for Hedda, it's not the whole truth - I wanted it myself too...)
The stickers are attached to cardstock, then I cut them to the shape I wanted.
All edges (on the box, the panels and the stickers) are distressed with DistressInk WalnutStain.
I've used blue flowers, a lot of small beads on top, and some bigger beads along the edges (that can't be seen on this picture). I've also used some lace and ribbons.

I chose Tom Kitten because I have an absolutely adorable stampimage of him that I wanted to make earrings of.

Here's the earrings. I've attached them to a piece of cardstock where I've stamped and embossed the Tom Kitten image - i think he looks cute without colours as well :)
The earrings are made of shrinkfilm.

Teabox

I have made a teabox, and it was so fun to make!
I've seen it made in other blogs, but when I started looking around, the only tutorials I could find was for After Eight chocolates (isn't it typical..!) Well, I used one of those, and just measured it up for teabags - I think it turned out rather good :)
Again I've used a Magnolia stamp, I don't think I'll ever get tired of them :)
The image is coloured with ProMarkers, and I've used some glitter to highlight the wings and a few details on Tildas clothes (I know - it doesn't show in the pictures, but it is there).
All edges are very lightly roughened and brushed with DistressInk.
I ran a ribbon through the holes on the diecut (Nellie's Multiframe), then tied a bow at the bottom - below Tildas feet.
I tried to keep the decorating simple on the lid, with a lace around the edge and some flowers, pearlstrings and beads on top of it - it should be possible to open the box (for refilling) without ruining it...
I'll enter these challenges with my teabox:
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Ribbons, Pearls/Rhinestones and Flowers
Magnolia Stamp Lovers - Ribbon
Scrapperiket - Blomster og Perler (Flowers and Pearls)
Just Magnolia - "Eyes down" - Bingo ( I chose the line with "Distressing, Flowers and Paper")

I hope you like my Teabox

Materials used for the Teabox:
Bazzill Kraft Cardstock
DP Maja Design
Flowers - Papirdesign
Stamp - Magnolia
ProMarkers
Dies - Nellie's Multiframe (Nellie Snellen)
Glimmermist
Crystal Glitter (Stampendous)
Ribbons
Lace
Pearlstrings
Beads
Adirondack Earthtones Espresso Ink
DistressInk Old Paper

Thanks for stopping by, and remember; I love comments ;)

My Favourite Movie

Here's the cover I made for my backup of my absolute favourite movie.
Can you imagine how happy I got when I saw what the challenges at Paper Romance and Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog were this week!
I've had very much work to get my hands on that movie, so I'm very afraid it might get damaged or lost - or simply "outworn" :)
I might come to need it when I some day go back to teaching...
My favourite movie is actually a musical - it's "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat".
(I'm a great fan of musicals - I don't know anybody who even likes them :( )
The story is based on the "coat of many colors" story of Joseph from the Hebrew Bible's book of Genesis.
I thought that for a cover for that movie it would be suitable to use as many colours as possible :)
The image is a colourimage from internet, which I've coloured (mostly) with Marvy Le Plumes (ProMarkers for skintones).

With this one I'll enter these challenges:
Paper Romance Challenges: Color!
Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog: Favourite Movie
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge: Sketch

Here I'll try to post a video from the movie, I hope you'll take time to listen to it, and enjoy it as much as I do:

Any dream will do

and my very favourite:

Close every door

The inside of the cover. Here's place for a short note about the movie - already written and ready, I just have to wait my turn for the printer....

Shabbychic cup

Now I have made a cup too, I've chosen to use mine for pens - might need more than one - LOL
with this one I'm back to the soft colours, a more shabbychick style, where I work a little "safer" than with my last blogpost :)
I'll send this one for the challenges at:
Just Magnolia: Anything goes with the option of adding glitter to the creation
Paperplaychallenges: Shabbychic/ vintage
A Spoon Full of Sugar: Anything with a vintage/ shabby theme!!!

I've used Bazzill cardstock for the cup, and decorated it with 3ndypapir's lovely paper "soft".
Tilda (from Magnolia) is coloured with ProMarkers.
The flowers are from Storyteller.
I've used Glitterpowder from Panduro on both Tildas dress and on the flowers.
Around the top of the cup I've used a white lace.
The handle is cut with Spellbinders Labels Four.

Eggcups

A while ago I saw something like this i a blog, and thought I'd try to make it.
When I finally found time and inspiration to do it, I couldn't find back to the blog - isn't it typical!
So - I had to figure out a way to make my own eggcups, far from as beautiful as the one I saw, but I'm quite pleased with them after all :)

Thats just so cute has a "Påskeextra" where the colours they want to see are purple, pink, green and yellow, and don't make anything square. I hope my eggcups will fit into that challenge.

Here's a close-up of the yellow eggcup, I've tried to keep most of Tilda and Edwins clothes in the cupcolours.
Inside the cups I've put some goldcoloured "angelhair", to protect the egg.

Seedpacketpocket

In many challengeblogs the theme is spring, in many variations.
When I went to the shop the other day they had put up a rack full of seedpackets - and in a flash I knew I had to enter some of those challenges. I knew what I would make, which image I'd use, even which colours I'd use :)
The image is from the back of a Sarah Kay Stickersheet. I scanned the image, printed it and coloured it with my ProMarkers.
- Isn't she lovely, on her way out in the garden, to plant some seeds...

I used the sketch from the challenge at stampwithsarahkay, and made it into a pocket, where some of the details from the sketch are the pockets closing.

I've just bought Spellbinders "Fancy Tags" (got them in the mail a few days ago), and have been looking for an opportunity to use them since - here I found it - I used it for securing the closing ofthe pocket :)

The challenges I enter with this project are:
stampwithsarahkay - Sketch
incywincydesigns - Spring is in the Air
citycrafter - Spring Fling
pennyschallenges - Going for the Green
stampinfortheweekend - Spring
sirstampalot - Spring is in the Air (colours green, yellow and/ or blossom pink)

I'm sorting my stuff

I'm trying to sort some of my stuff and stash :)
I decided to make a book for my laces, I made the covers and found the rings. Then I started to roll up all my loose laces I found that one book isn't enough - I'll have to make another one - another day...
What was ment to be a cute little book turned out gigantic -LOL - I had to tie it together with string instead of using the cute little rings I found - But I will make more covers...

This is a little archivebox for my Magnoliaimages. It's made out of envelopes, cardstock, designerpapers (scraps), a bit of this and that and of course a Magnoliaimage on front :)
here it's shown from the side, I've used some envelopes, but I find this folder very handy, and it makes it easy to find the image I want.

I made this one some while ago, but it wasn't not big enough any longer, so now I keep christmasMagnoliaimages in it :)

Vintage Bookcard

Here is my book for Vintage Udfordring # 16 :)
They have a wonderful tutorial for the book, so I made it without too much difficulties - and I had fun making it! Well - putting the pages together wasn't that fun, but when I'd done it I was really satisfied with myself (LOL).
When the pages were finished, all the fun began; I used a lot of DistressInk (Walnut Stain and Old Paper), Glimmermist (Coffeeshop) in an amount that equals showers, and a little bit of glitter for the roses....
I also enter the latest challenge at Kort o Mania, where they want us to make a card that isn't 6x6 inches - which this one isn't...
It doesn't show well on the picture, but I've made three humps on the back of the book, to make it look more like an old leather book.
This book will be filled with "Baileystrøfler" from Lofotensjokolade - the best chocolate ever made! You should all try it :D
It's a perfect gift; for mothersday, birthdays, weddings, christmas, get-well-visits - any occasion :)

Materials
Size: 5 x 4 1/4
Ink: DistressInk Walnut Stain, Old Paper, Vintage Photo
Papers: KraftPaper from Bazzill, Designpapers from Panduro
Other: Flowers Prima, GlitterPowder Panduro, Glimmermist Coffeeshop, Lace Kort&Godt
Techniques: Harmonica-folding, Distressing
Misc.: Ribbons, cornerstickers and pearlstring from my drawer :)

White and Pink Lantern

This year I've decided to try to make more "things", not only cards (and scrappages).
This is one of those projects :)
I've made a lantern in white and pink.
It's meant to use with one of those batteryoperated tea-lights inside.
The reason why I made white and pink was mainly because I have big difficulties painting this Tildaimage in other colours than pink :), and those colours are the requested colours in the challenges at both
Scrappekammeret
and
Scrap'a'Long Utfordringsblogg

* * *

Scrappekammeret
og
Scrap'a'Long Utfordringsblogg

Size: 11X7 cm (without the handle)

Materials:
White Bazzill Cardstock
DP: Poppy Design (Vibeke Spigseth) from Panduro
Stamp: Magnolia
Aquarellepencils
Ribbons
Bling
Flowers
MS edgepuncher

Hot Chocolate

I've made two chocolatebags for snowy days - I still hope we'll have some of those, there are still a few weeks of winter :)
In the bags there are a candycane, marshmallows and a bag to make hot chocolate (just add hot water or milk) - a perfect little treat for ice cold children who's been out in the snow for a long day...
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #119 is "Hot Chocolate", so this bag (in chocolatebrown and silver colours) is for them, as well as for Sander :)

As I have two kids I have to make two bags - one for each of them, with the exact same content...
On this one I've used a bit of pink DP, so it'll have to be for Hedda :)

Material list:
Scrap papers and cardstock
MS edge punch
cellofanebags
Stampset: Vinterglede from Papirdesign
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Archival Brilliance Moonlight White
Ribbons from Panduro
