Magic Wallet Birthdaycard

Having a real slow Saturday, I found time to post another "card" I made recently :)
This is a mechanism I've been thinking of for a long, long time. My daughter bought such a wallet a couple of years back, and ever since I've had it in the back of my mind. Some days ago she was invited to a birthday and I decided to figure out how to make a "Magic Wallet Card".
It took some time to find how to put the ribbons - but I made it - and I'm proud of it!
The wallet needs some folding to work, so I couldn't put on too much stash, just the image (WOJ), two tags (Magnolia doohickeys), a little bow with a charm attached and some halfpearls.
The image is coloured with Distress reinkers.

When closing and opening  the wallet the card and money swap places - cool, or what!

The back of the wallet:

I'll put the Magic Wallet into these challenges:
Totally Papercrafts #161 - Birthdaygirl in Pink
Dutch Dare #211 - Birthday Fun
Simon Says Stamp! - Happy Birthday
Stampavie and More #190 - Pretty In Pink
2 Sisters #138 - Anything Goes

Confirmationcard with Tie

Woke up to a wonderful morning at Røst.
The sun is shining, almost no wind, a bit too much snow that I like in April, but hopefully it'll disappear soon - very soon :)
I have a new card to show today. A boys card again, and again a boys confirmationcard.
I made it as a Magic Card, with DPs from Papirdesign. The image is from Whiff of Joy, coloured with Distress reinkers. I inked the edges around the image with DistressInk WalnutStain, the paperedges with DI BlackSoot. I used Martha Stewarts Heart Chain punch on the cardstockedges, and on the DP I put on the front as deco. The blue dotty ribbon is only fastened underneath the papers, so I could use a tie as decoration on the card - I thought that would be cute with this image...

The back of the card:

I'll enter these challenges:
Panduro Hobby - Konfirmation
Scrap'a'Long #26 - Konfirmasjon
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Crafty Cats #177 - Anything Goes

Tagbook for Confirmation

Hi again, girls :)
Spring and confirmations seems long ahead - tonight and earlier today we've had some more snow... - but time run fast and before we know it they're both here. And as I've said before; a slow cardmaker like me have to start early. Cards for the boys are the most difficult, so I've started these first :)
Today I'll show you a tagbookcard I've made.
I think the image is from WOJ (hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong).
I cut a 3.1/4" x5" panel of aquarellepaper and punched around it with Martha Stewarts Eyelet Lace PATP-set.
I've coloured it with DistressInk (Reinks and Markers).
Then I inked the edges, like I did with all papers (Pion, Papirdesign and Panduro) and cardstock.
I put lots of halfpearls around the image.
Next picture shows it opened facing the back of it.
I used Kraftcardstock for the labels. Stamped different greetings in the middle and swirls around the edges.

Here's the inside. Tags made of Kraftcardstock. Decorated with stamping and/or papers.
The back of the tags doesn't have any stamping, there one can write more personal greetings :)

Here I've pulled the tags up a bit. I see now that I should have pulled the tag to the right more up, as the stamped greeting are at the bottom of it (funny how much more you see and think of when you see pictures...)

Backside:
I'll enter these challenges:
Creative Card Crew #32 - Masculine
Through The Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges #6 - Anything Goes
Stamp With Fun #203 - Alles Geht

Yet another Confirmationcard for a Boy

Here's yet another confirmationcard from me.
This one a Gatefoldcard, closed with a tag holding a magnet.
The image is (again) "Cool Oakley" from Whiff of Joy, coloured with ProMarkers.
Apart from some sentiments I've tried to keep the decorating at a minimum, can' make it too cute for a boy, either

Open card, showing the moneypocket...
...the pocket is fastened with a brad, making it possible to turn around, and a poem shows...
Outside the cellophane-envelope I've put a self-adhesive label which I stamped "Til Konfirmanten" (for the confirmand) upon - it can be nice to easy tell the cards apart sometimes...

I'll enter these two challenges with my card:
Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge Blog
A Spoon Full of Sugar

I still have a few confirmationcards to come, so please come back visiting ;)

Confirmationcard for a boy

I'm still working on my confirmationcard, I have a few ready to show you the next days :)
This one is made with Sketch Saturdays Sketch this week.
I used the same sketch bot in- and outside the card. Inside I've put a tag underneath the poem...
...the tag has a (heartshaped) paperclip to fasten some money with.

A close-up showing Cool Oakley (Whiff of Joy), I think he suits perfect for confirmationcards for boys :)

I'll enter these challenges with this card:

Another confirmationcard

Here is another confirmationcard for a boy that I've made.
I find it a bit hard to make these boyscards, as I don't want them to be "too cute" or decorated, but still have some solemness...
I made the card after Whiff of Joys latest sketch. The stampimage is "Cool Oakley", also from Whiff of Joy.
I've used doublesided tape and glued a 6"X12" Bazzill cardstock down to 6"X6", so as it is shown here is the only way to open the card :)
Under the "tab" I've made a pocket where I can put some money.
The tab has a hidden magnet, that holds it closed.

These are the challenges I'll play along with this card_
Whiff of Joy - Sketch
Bunny Zoe's Craft -One for the boys
Simon Says - Anything Goes
Party Time Tuesdays - Anything Goes

Simon Says Stamp Challenge
also has a Bloghop going, and I really look forward hop around :D

Confirmationcard for a boy

Since i saw the tutorial for the "Magic Card" at StampARTic I've wanted to try to make it, and this is how my magic card turned out.
I thought it would be perfect for a confirmationcard. I have several confirmationcards for boys to make this year, and only 1 for a girl (and that one is already finished!)
I've used the colours from Sketchy Colors colorcombochallenge this week - blue, beige and white; perfect colours for a boys card, I think :)
As it is a confirmationcard I'll enter the challenges at Nordsalten-hobbyklubb "Konfirmasjon" and at Scrap'a'Long Utfordringsblogg "Lag noe til konfirmanten" (Make something for the confirmand).
I'll also put the card into the challenge at Delicious Doodles Challenges "Anything Goes".

This is the inside of the card, with a sentiment, a writing plate and a ribbon to tie around a moneygift :)
