Vintage Confirmationcard for a Boy

Hi again, fellow Crafters.
I have made a vintage boyscard.
For a while I have wondered if it could be done; as I don’t think I can have too much flowers and laces and other stashy, yummi nice things on a male card…
So i found my things -
Papers from Papirdesign,
the image is also from Papirdesign,
dies from Spellbinders,
Frantage Shabby White Embossing Enamel,
Goldcoloured Embossingpowder,
Pearls and stash to make a pin,
Textstamps from Papirdesign and Kort & Godt,
Ribbon with textprint,
and of course DistressInk WalnutStain
- and decided to have a try
This is how it turned out:

The inside is rather Clean and Simple, with a fold to put in either money or a giftcard:

On the back I stamped a greeting, and embossed it with Goldcoloured embossinpowder

I hope you like my Vintage Male Card.

I’ll join these challenges with it:
Vintage Udfordring #80 - Herrekort/ Card to a man
A Creative Romance - One For The Boys
Sister Act #56 - Card Only
Scrapper’s Delights #22 - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Challenges 4 Everybody #41 - Anything Goes
Card Mania #46 - Emboss It
Dream Valley #81 - Anything Goes
Kort o Mania #107 - Alt Går/ Alt er lov/ Anything Goes
Card and Scrap #75 - Brug Billede

My Heart Belongs to Daddy...

I made it! I've finished my second creation for Anonyme Timeglass at Anonyme Scrappere :D
Happy, happy - 2 finished, 2 to go!

Starting on this card I meant I had a really good idea, almost a perfect plan; I'd make the card for my fathers birthday (in 2 months time, but I had the inspiration for it now...), I'd use papers from Pions "For Father"-collection, I'd try to use elements that would reflect things I know he likes. It would have to be manly and elegant, and I would use a heartshape for it.
Many, many times while making it I struggled, I have to admit.
I really had to search for the Sudokupaper I knew I had somewhere (took some time, but I found it!) What I didn't find was my tiny heartshaped punches. Having searched for them for about half an hour I remember that Hedda last night asked to bring them to school today, in case they should make mothersdaycards (arts and crafts at Friday - she loves it).
Well, I found other solutions (pearls and charms, and though it's a males card I think the flowers looks nice on it - men deserves flowers too, I think.)
Having been a fisherman all of his life, I knew i had to use fish on the card, Kaisercraft has a lovely pad called Hunt & Gather, where I found a paper full of fish and cut out a few to use on this one.
So, now I won't write more, here come the pictures of the card, laying flat, opened and a close-up at last:

My fathers birthdaycard will go into these challenges:
Anonyme Scrappere - Anonyme Timeglass
Papirdokkene - Vise Kjærlighet
One stitch At A Time - With Love

New Year - New Calendar

A little late maybe, but Happy New Year everybody!
Here's the Calendar I made for 2012.

Since this is a calendar that is supposed to be on display and use throughout the year, I felt I had to make it suitable for the whole year. If I'd make one section for each month I'd better be starting on the calendar for 2013, to get it finished in time...
So I divided it in 4, one for each season of the year; winter, spring, summer and fall (think it sounded like a song, when I read it...)
I have used Magnolia stampimages, Tilda and Edwin that I thought fitted the seasons. Designpapers used for backgrounds are all from MajaDesign. Everything used is old stuff and stash, but the calendar is new - 366 brand new days :D

When I sat down to make this one Hedda came and wanted to make her own calendar. I'll help her put it into the blog later today (she's very "do-it-myself", and wants to have her own blog. I think she's a little too young as she is only 10 years old ("very soon to be 11", I'd guess she'd correct me, if she'd hear me or read this - LOL), but for now she'll have to borrow mine).

It'll go to the challenges at:
Panduro Hobby - Kalender (de 4 årstider)
Let's Ink It Up - Anything Goes
Papirdokkene - Noe gammelt og noe nytt (something old and something new)
Alphabet Challenge - Y for You Can Choose
Stampin' for the Weekend - Out with the Old
OLLCB - New Beginnings
Gingerloft Challenge - Anything Goes

A little Gift

Here's a little something I made the other day - maybe to be used as a little gift when visiting a friend, or maybe on ones own breakfastable...
It's a Teabox, made of papers from Papirdesign - the teabags are blue so I figured I had to use blue papers too...
The picture is a cutout from a collagepaper I cant' remember where came from, but I think this two kids playing in the snow are sooo cute (I really, really wish for a little snow now!)
The snowflakes are made with a Magnolia Die, a Martha Steart punch and a Tonic punch.
I made this teabox for the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge "Make a Gift/ Anything but a card", that is into its second week now.
Come and join us, and show us your gifts...

I'll send my teabox into the challenges at:

OctoberChristmasCards

Here's my three christmascards for October. Of course I both have and will make more than three christmascards this month, but these are the three for Hjertebodens Juleblogg.
I've followed their challenge of making three christmascards each month throughout the year, and wow have that been fun!
It was kind of hard to find the christmasspirit during the summermonths, but I made it!
And now, with only a couple of months left of the year, with more and more christmasspirit coming, I'm sure I will manage three cards per month.
This months cards are made with papers mainly from Pion Design and Papirdesign.
I love their christmascollections!

Sketchy Colors has an absolutely wonderful sketch for this weeks challenge. And the DT have made really inspirational cards. I loved it so much I had to make two cards with it (and have plans for a third... and a fourth...)

This first one I made in coffee and cream colours, as the option was in Just Magnolias Anything Goes Challenge. I've also used a teenytinylittlebit of red.

I used a doohickey and a punch for the snowflakes, with a whitish halfbead in the middle.
The sitting Tilda is coloured with ProMarkers.
And with the sitting Tilda and the hickeysnowflake I'll enter TOMICs Challenge# 19.

After finishing the frontside I kind of panicked when I felt the weight of it, so not making it cost too much posting I had to keep the inside simpler - LOL

(When I saw the photos on the computer I realized I had forgotten the greetingpanels inside - wonderful spellbinderpanels with cute Storytellergreetings - well, I won't take new pictures, as they are quite similar to the ones I used on the card below...
Yes I have attached them now :) )

And here's the third Octobercard. Also made for Sketchy Colors Sketchchallenge.
I felt really brave colouring these Tildas in red clothings - colouring in bold colours is a bit out of my comfort zone, so I felt pretty proud when I had finished them :)
The picture below shows the inside (same labels used for the first card too ;) )

Red, Grey and Green ChristmasCard

Just a quick post from me tonight, showing a christmascard I made after the sketch at Sketch Saturdays latest challenge. Sketchy Colors wanted to see the colours Red, Grey and Green, and Card and Scrap wanted Distressing or Embossing, so I chose to combine those three challenges to make this card. This is also my first christmascard for Hjertebodens Juleblogg
Below you can see the inside, where I worked after the same sketch.
I used the papers "Christmas flower" and "Christmas tree" from Pion Design, and cardstock in Green, red and grey.

Thanks for stopping by.

Easter candybags

In the weekend I made these two candybags for the easter.
I tried to make them as lika as possible without being the same, as I wanted them to be "a pair".
A closer picture of "the right hand bag" :)
This is, of course then the bag that is supposed to stand an the left hand side - can't you tell by the flowers...

I had so much fun making them, and can hardly wait to fill them with candies :D
