Christmas in July @ Inky Chicks

Good Morning

I'm back with another christmascard.
This one for the new challenge over at

Inky Chicks

The theme for this fortnightly challenge is

Christmas in July

and the sponsor for this challenge is

I made a pocketcard for this challenge.
On this one I used two Magnoliaimages, coloured with DistressInk - refills and markers.
To decorate the pocket I used MagnoliaDooHickeys, Martha Stewart Ribbon, Seambindingribbon, a snowflakecharm, two little bells and some Glitterstickles on the trees (Magnolia DooHickeys).
DPs are from Inkido. All paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.
I sprinkled on a little Frantage Chunky White EmbossingEnamel around the image.
The reindeerimage (Magnolia, that too) is cut out and attached with 3D foam pads.
Textstamp (on the back of the pocket) is from Kort & Godt.
The snowflakestamps used on the insidecard are from an old stampset from TPC Studio.

The insidecard has lots of room for writing, so this is a christmascard for the long christmaswishes...

Use a resin embellishment @ Inky Chicks

Hello again, dear friends, followers and crafters.
I’m back to give you a little inspiration for the next fortnights challenge at
Inky Chicks

The theme for this challenge is
Use a Resin Embellishment
-of course you can use more than one if you like…

I have made a tag for this challenge.
The tag is rather large, about 5 x 3 inches, and with the decorations about 6x4 ½ at the widest.
I felt it was ages since I’ve used a Magnolia image, so for this one I decides to do that, and to use DistressInks to colour. Long time since I’ve used those too…
On the tag I used laces, ribbons, cheesecloth, seambindingribbon, twine, a button, a charm, a pin, glitterstickles, real feathers and the resin feather.
I really love all of this embellishments, in fact I love to decorate my cards with as much as possible, so sitting with my pearls and couldn’t find anywhere to put them made me kind of sad…
Around the image I used Frantage Aged Ivory. The flowers are «decorated» with Frantage Shabby White. All paper- and paneledges are inked with DistressInk Walnut Stain.

The DP used (not shown very good on the pictures) is from Magnolia. Before I inked the edges i distressed them a little.

I have used a Magnoliaimage for my card, but you can use any image you want to as long as it is a «no-nose»-image.
I’ve coloured the image with DistressInks, and around it I’ve used Frantage Shabby Pink Embossing Enamel.
The papers are from MajaDesign.

Shabby Chic at Fashionista Challenge

Hello Again, fellow Crafters.
Today I’m here to show you my project for
the Shabby Chic Cahllenge
at
Fashionista Challenge

As it’s the 3rd and final week to enter the challenge, I guess many of you already have made your shabby Chic projects and entered the challenge, but if you haven’t, just find your shabby stash, create and join us.

Now over to my project.
I have decorated a paperbag to put a little gift for my mother in.
The paperbag was originally Craftcoloured, but with papers, paint and Inking, nothing much of that shows through.
The image is from Magnolia and coloured with Distress Reinkers. Around the image I sprinkled on a little Shabby White Embossing Enamel (Frantage). The imagepanel is then mounted on a Spellbinderframe - perfect size for this image

DPs are from MajaDesign.
I also used some cheesecloth between the layers.
In the flowerarrangement I put in some lace, pearlstrings, swirls and leaves (a die from La La Land), then I gave it a little brush with the white Gesso. I just had to put on some halfpearls…
The tag is tied to the handle with seambindingribbontied into a bow. Around the seambindingbow I tied a button and a heartcharm with a little piece of hemp.
All paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.

I have made an easelcard, and for my «no-nose»-girl I’ve used a Magnoliaimage. This time I’ve done the colouring with DistressInks - for some unknown reason I feel this is the right colouringmedium for the Magnolias…

Around the image I’ve sprinkled on a little Shabby White Embossing Enamel. The only decorations on the card is some laces, a bow and a little charm, oh, and some pearls.

The text on the banner is from Kort & Godt.

The inside-text is from Norsk Stempelblad AS

For my DT-entry I´ve made another Paperbag-Giftcard-Holder

I´ve used a Magnolia-image on this one, coloured with DistressInk - had a little trouble finding colours to match the papers, and I had to use thiese papers ( Powder Mountain Collection from Bo Bunny) to match my new ski-dies from MarianneDesign. Of course I used other dies as well, lots of snowflakes-dies, after all; Snowflakes are part of this challenge :)

Giftcard-Paperbag with The Day Before X-Mas Tilda

Hello, and good morning
3 days untill christmas, and I´m slowly getting all things ready for the big day; the house is cleaner and tidyer than the rest of the year, most of the presents are wrapped, food and clothes are planned
- what´s left is a little shopping, putting up the tree and a quick sweep over the floors, and we´re ready for christmas :)

Today I have another of my giftcardholder to show you, this time made with the beautiful magnoliaimage The Day Before X-Mas Stocking Tilda.  She´s coloured with DistressInk Refills.
For decorations I´ve used Magnolia-dies. The little house- and the Merry Christmas-dies are new, and sooo cute! I´ve had the poinsettia for quite a while now, but I still love, love, love it! I think it´s my most used die…

On the poinsettia, the house and around the image I put on some Frantage Shabby White Embossing Enamel - for the time it´s my favourite stuff! I use it on almost everything i make - may have to put it away for a while…
All text- and postalstamps, except from the «Til- Fra», are from Kort & Godt. The «Til- Fra»-stamp used on the back of the paperbag is from Papirdesign.
Designpapers are from Magnolia.

Giftcard-Paperbag with The Day Before Xmas Edwin Shakerbox

I have made a Giftcardholder in a paperbag
Some of the youths I know even prefer giftcards…
But - the cardholders that come with the cards are sooo poor! I have to make my own cardholders!
This is one of the ideas I´ve come up with - yes, it´s my own idea! I havent seen it anywhere 😊

It´s an ordinary brown paperbag ( 3 1/8 x 5 7/8), bought at Søstrene Grene.
I cut Kraft cardstock 3 inches wide and some 6 ½-ish long (the punched border decides the length), to make the cardholder to put inside the paperbag.
Then I tried not to go too wild in dies and decorations - oh, I  L O V E  dies! Each and all of them!
The beautiful image, Magnolias «The Day Before X-Mas Edwin», is put inside a shakerbox, before
I attached it to the paperbag.

Here´s the insidecard shown. I cut to halfcircleshaped slits in the DP to hold the giftcard:

The backsides. On the insidecard i placed a little christmasgreeting. On the back of the paperbag I made a simple «To - From»-note

I decorated a regular brown paperbag to use as a giftbag for christmas
I used flowers, ribbon and Bling from Storyteller.
The image is from Magnolia, It´s coloured with DistressInk refills. Around the image I put on some Chunky White Embossing Enamel.
The dies are from Spellbinders and Marianne Design and the punch I used on top of the bag is from Martha Stewart.
The paper is from Papirdesign - and of course I´ve inked all paperedges…

Christmas Bling at Fashionista Magnolia and More

 I´m back with my card for the 3rd and final week to enter 

the 

CHRISTMAS BLING 

challenge

over at 

Fashionista Magnolia and More Challenge

I have used two of my newest Magnolia-images - aren´t they cuuute!!!

I´ve coloured with DistressInks and a little Glitterstickles, and sprinkled a little Chunky White Embossing Enamel around the image.

All paperedges are lightly inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.

As the challengetheme is BLING, I really let myself go a little wild in different embellishments;

here are several different dies used, cheesecloth, rhinestones and blingstones, a beautiful snowflake-charm, a seambindingribbonbow, lace, pompomribbon, tags and twine

To keep the easelcard standing upright I attached a row of rhinestones:

The insidepanel with place to write a personal greeting can «swing out»…

…and you´ll find a stamped christmasgreeting underneath it…

…when you swing the greetingpanel you´ll find another panel to write a personal message:

There´s also a tag tucked underneath one of the frontside panels

(unfortunately I haven´t taken pictures to show the back of the tag, where there´s a teenytiny christmasbell - it gives such a wonderful little sound when you pull out the tag…)

When the card is completely opened yoy can find another stamped greeting - with some rhinestones around:

Remember; for this challenge you HAVE to use a NO-NOSE Image

So make sure your project follow both the months theme and also the «no-nose»-theme.
