Christmascard in Nontraditional Colours

I have made a christmascard.
My christmascardbox is slowly filling, but there's still some days to go...
This christmascard is made in a kind of non-traditional chrismascolours. Pink and turquoise are at least not what I think of as christmascolours, but I think it turned out quite well.
The image is Winter Skate Party from Sherri Baldy. It's coloured with Pro- and FlexMarkers and a little glittersticles on the "fur"details.
I also put glitter on all the snowflakes.
The snowflakes are made with different dies and punches. I used Martha Stewarts Aspen Snowflake PATP-set on one of the edges on the panels behind the image and on the little greetingpanel/-tag that's tucked under the image. The greeting is a stamp from Kort & Godt.
Around the image I embossed with the chunky embossingenamel I just recently discovered.
I love the effect of it!
I also love the effect of inked edges, so all paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.

I used the same paper on the backside,
and another snowflakedies:

Same papers inside too. The MS punch "Aspen Snowflake" used around the greetingpanels here, as well:

I'll enter the following challenges:
ProMarker Norge - Jul i Juni - Bruk utradisjonelle julefarger
Jingle Belles - We Wish You a Digital Christmas
Holly Jolly Christmas - Dashing Through The Snow
Party Time Tuesdays #126 - Anything Goes

Another Shaped Card

.
Thought I'd show you another shaped card I've made.
Our ongoing challenge at My Besties inspired me to make more shaped cards :)
This time it's made as a shakercard.
The image inside the shakerbox is Sherri Baldys "img 697 May Blossom".
It's coloured with Pro- and FlexMarkers, as usual ;)
The cardshape is made wit Sizzix Frame, Fancy Oval.
The little shakerbox, hanging underneath is made with a dies from the same set.
The greeting inside it is from Papirdesign.
The next two pictures show the card "folded out".
On the back of the card I attached two oval shaped papers, with stamped greetings on.

This picture shows the card lying flat.
Here you can see the tiny beads inside the shakerboxes better:

I'll enter my shaped shakercard into these challenges:

Pause Dream Enjoy #13 - Anything Goes

Welcome Little One at Ooh La La Creations Challenges

I'm back to invite you to the new challenge at
The theme the next fortnight is
Welcome Little One
and we want to see many, many creations for our little ones,
so come join us

The image and papers I have used are actually called "Little Ones", aren't they cute???
I didn't want to cover these cute papers in lots of embellishments and stash, so this time it's a Clean and Simple card from me. I just put on a ribbon, a bow and a cute little feetcharm.

Inside I attached a greetingpanel with 3D-tape, to make the easel stan upright.

All sides of the card are covered with papers.
This is the back of the card - isn't this a great paper! I love it!

I'll send my babycard to these challengeblogs:
Cupcake #248 - Not for Flowers
NSHK #76 - Clean and Simple
Alphabet Challenge Blog - J for Jiffy

My Besties

Shaped Card
FUN - or what???
I hope many, many of you'll take the time to join us

The little cutie I have used on my Strawberryshaped card is Sherri Baldys "Strawberry Blossom"
You can find her in the Scrapbook Stamp Society Shop
Mine is coloured with ProMarkers. The tiny white "dots" are made with LiquidPearls WhiteOpal.
Over her nose I used a white gelpen to give her white, little freckles - it's SO cute :)
The Strawberryshape is made with a cuttingfile from The Cutting Cafe.
The papers are old scraps, but I found them perfect for this card.

Inside I put on two greetingpanels. The leftsidepanel is stamped with a greeting from Papirdesign.

The cuttingfile also had a template for an envelope that suits the card perfect:

I'll send my strawberry-summer-card into these challenges:

Wallhanging to Greet the Summer

Good morning to each and everyone of you.
It's Midsummer, I really hope the weather improves a little during the day. It's not raining, but it's very cloudy. On midsummernight we have bonfire and barbecue, not nice if it's rainy...
Well, I'm greeting summer anyway:
I made this little wallhanging the other day, to hang by my kitchenwindow.
I have used img 851 and 855 from Sherri Baldy. Both are brand new images - aren't they just supercute!
The images are coloured with ProMarkers. (Full suppplylist further down).
Around the images I used some of the chunky embossing enamel - fun stuff :)
I tried to use light colours and make it in a little shabby chic style.
The paperedges are distressed; ripped, torn and inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.
It doesn't show well in the picture, but the pennants are attached with a white satinribbon.

I'll enter the wallhanging into these challenges:

Summer Holiday

Hi again, everyone.
Yesterday was the kids last day at school - lucky them; 2 months vacation just started.
I really miss those endless summerdays!
(I miss teaching too, especially this time of year :) )

This image - My Besties img 854 -with the long, wild hair, trying to be tamed with ribbons and braiding, is just like my daughter Hedda. So I tried to colour it in her colours, with her favourite colours on the clothes and in the papers (Magnolia) and embellishments.
You can find lots and lots of My Besties images here.
I coloured the image with ProMarkers.
Hedda was very satisfied with it, as she brought it to her teacher on the last day.
Some of the butterflies (Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly Large and Small Punch) are glued on stringswirls. I think it gives such a fun effect; almost as they're flying above the card. Of course the butterflies are glittered, as are the flowers :)
The circleshaped greeting above the image (saying "Thanks") can spin around.

The inside is simple decorated. We used Martha Stewarts Vintage Floral PATP-set to make the panels.
Upon the we attached scalloped circles made with an Marvy Uuchida punch.
The greetings and images on the left side are Hannah stamps, bought ages ago...
we put on a few butterflies inside too

I'll enter the following challenges:
I Love ProMarkers #173 - Anything Goes
Passion for ProMarkers #203 - Floral Fantasy
Stampin' for the Weekend - Anything Goes
Crafty Catz #188 - Anything Goes

Congratulations
to the winner and Top 3
And a huge thank you to each end everyone who joined our "Inspired by Nature"-challenge.

And finally I've started to use some of those buttons I've saved over the years...
(further down you can find a list of products I've used)

Now it's your turn.
I hope many of you will dig out our Buttons and Blings and join us on this challenge.
I hope you've found a little inspiration here,

Delishious Die Cuts at My Besties

Good Morningto each and everyone of you.
It's monday morning and time for a new
My Besties Challenge
This week the theme is
"Delishious Die Cuts"
Great - or what?!?
I love my dies, and for this challenge I used both some of my most used ones, the tag (Magnolia DooHickey) and the swirl (My Favorite Thing). I had almost forgotten that I had the butterflies (Cheery Lynn). I'm not sure that the Spellbinderdie I used at the top and bottom of the right side, have cutted through papers before, though I've had it for years...
I also used Martha Stewarts Doily Lace edge punch on some of the paperedges.
The panels are sewn together.
Apart from the dies to decorate with, I used:
Lace, cheesecloth, seambindingribbon, twines, flowers, metalswirls, halfpearls, rhinestones, Glitterstickles, LiquidPearls - and there is a heartcharm attached to the bow. I didn't see what a strange position it fell into in the picture before I had loaded it...
The Glitterstickles is used on the butterflies and the flowers. On and around the image I used lots of LiquidPearls (LOVE IT!)
The image, Frilly Lilly Messy Bessy, from Sherri Baldy, is coloured with Pro- and FlexMarkers.
For me, markers works best for colouring these images.
The textgreetings are from Papirdesign.

Well, I hope you found a little inspiration here and  want to join us for our "Delishious Die Cuts"-Challenge.
Pop over to

Today I'll show you a giftbag I've made during this busy days - have to do a little crafting, in between, to keep sane...
The image, one of Sherri Baldy's My Besties - isn't it just adorable? - is coloured with Pro-and FlexMarkers.
The designpapers are really old, so I have no idea of the brand or where I bought it.
The paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.
I used a Spellbinders dies and a Magnolia DooHickey dies, two Martha Stewart punches (Lace Heart edge punch and the leaf).
I used flowershaped buttons to make the bags closing. Then I put on some lace, flowers, twine, halfpearls and a ribbon.
The text (Nyt livet - spis sjokolade. "Enjoy life - eat chocolate") is from Storyteller. Of course the bag is supposed to contain a little chocolategift :)
