Love Is In The Air
Not a too difficult theme, I Hope…

For my card I´ve used one of Sherri Baldys Lovely My Besties-images

I find many of the pink colours hard to blend together, but this time it worked out quite well.
Around the image I sprinkled on a little bit of Stampendous Frantage Aged Rose Embossing Enamel.
The papers are from an old stack from V&A, quite fun with the similar patterned papers in different colours.
The card is folded as a Joy Fold-Card, in 6x6 inches size.
The dies used are from Magnolia, Marianne Design and Nellie´s MultiFrames.
For decoration I used lace, ribbons and twine, some pearls and a little Love-charm.

I have made an easelcard, and for my «no-nose»-girl I’ve used a Magnoliaimage. This time I’ve done the colouring with DistressInks - for some unknown reason I feel this is the right colouringmedium for the Magnolias…

Around the image I’ve sprinkled on a little Shabby White Embossing Enamel. The only decorations on the card is some laces, a bow and a little charm, oh, and some pearls.

The text on the banner is from Kort & Godt.

The inside-text is from Norsk Stempelblad AS

For the Boys at I ❤️ ProMarkers

Hi all crafters out there.
Here’s my card for this weeks challenge over at
I ❤️ ProMarkers
It’s a Boys card, ‘cause this week the challenge sounds
One For the Boys

Fun - and quite challenging, or what 😀

I have used an image from Kenny K for my masculine card.
Of course it’s coloured with ProMarkers - the bluetones are a really mix of light blue colours.
I even think I used a couple of greenish tones in it. Sometimes experimenting works well…
For the skin I used Ivory, Dusky Pink, Tan and Blush.
The hair is coloured with Cocoa, Terracotta and Gold.
The shoes are in Tan and Sandstone with a little touch of Satin.
I used the Blender over some spots of it.
Around the image I used Aged Teal and Chunky Black Embossing Powder.
On the outsides I used a DP from Papirdesign, inside I used a paper I’ve had for so long I’ve forgotten where I’ve got it.
The grey and black cardstocks are Bazzills.
Inside I stamped a greetingtext form Norsk Stempelblad AS.
The cardfold gives room for a giftcard, and is tied together with a bow.

Fancy Folds at My Besties

 Good Morning All Crafters out there!

It’s time for a new challenge over at
My Besties
This time our theme is
Fancy Folds
- and wow, did I find a great tutorial for a Fancy Folded Card to use for my card!

I may have gone a bit wild using dies, but I wanted to put this girl in a real winter wonderland.

The image is Sherri Baldys Img 100010, and it’s coloured with ProMarkers.
I’ve used DPs from Pion. And as you can see, all paperedges, both on DPs and most of the diecuts are inked. On many of the snowflakes I used Glitterstickles. Beneath the image I put on Aleene’s True Snow (with a little glitter sprinkled over while the snowmedium still were wet.

Here’s how the card looks when the front is folded out.
Looking closer into the «depths» of the foldings, you can see more trees (different shaped) and snowflakes…

The back of the card, very CAS-style. Sorry I didn’t get any good photos of the inside, but they’re almost similar to this one.

 Good Morning on this Cold and Windy Sunday Morning.

I have made a pocketcard with the beautiful image

It’s coloured with ProMarkers.
Around the image I sprinkled on some Shabby Pink- and Shabby White Embossing Enamel
The DPs are from MajaDesign. I think MajaDesigns papers are just perfect for My Besties images!
The leaves underneath the flowers are made with a die from Joy!Crafts.
I also used some laces and pearls for decorations.
And, of course, the paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.

Behind the image I’ve put two tags, with little greetings (Kort & Godt) stamped on. On one of the tags I’ve attached a bow made of seambindingribbon, with a button tied on for decoration:

Hot Colours at I ❤️ ProMarkers

Good Morning all crafters out there
It’s Wednedsay and time for a new challenge at
I ❤️ ProMarkers
First of all I’d like to say congratulations to the Winner and the Top 3
This weeks theme is to use
Hot Colours

- a rather tough one for me, as I most work in «paler shades», but I actually found it quite fun to use bold and bright colours 😊

I used DPs from Basic Grey and My Minds Eye on a cardbase of Bazzill Kraft cardstock. For the front of the card I cut the paper from MME into narrow strips. Then I inked the edges on them and glued them down to the BGpaper (can you imagine what my fingers looked like after inking all those tiny paperstrips!)
I used Spellbinders Scalloped circles Large to cut out the image ande the greetingpanels inside.
Around the image I put on some Shabby White- and Aged Copper Embossing Enamel.
I didn’t think I had any «Hot Coloured» flowers, but looking through my stash I found lots of them (and lots of forgotten stash… fun)
On the edge Of the cardfront I used Martha Stewarts Floral Wine deep edge punch. Looking closely you can see the pearls I put into the center of the Florals.

The stamped greeting (Norsk Stempelblad) inside is embossed with copperpowder:

IceSkating Princess in white and Blue

Good Morning all Crafters :)

Today I have a little card to show you, that I made using an image I’ve been wanting for a long, long time. It’s IceSkating Princess from the Paper Shelter - isn’t she just beautiful!

I’ve coloured her with ProMarkers. Around the image I sprinkled on a little Chunky White Embossing Enamel, and some Shabby Blue Embossing Enamel below her.

I used lots of dies on the card, from Spellbinders and MagnoliaDooHickeys. The Skatedies are from MarianneDesign, and are also a thing that’s been on my wishlist for a long time :)

The Skatingcharms attached to the tag (Magnolia DooHickeys) are from Tim Holtz.

All paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain - quite some work with all those paperbits…

DPs are from Magnolia and MajaDesign.

I also had to put on a few pearls - aren’t those skates just made to put pearls on???

The tag underneath the image can be pulled out - I plan to stamp (or write) a greeting before giving the card away.

Bragpost - a little bit late…

Can you believe I forgot to post this one!
I took the pictures, and almost finished the blogpost, but something must have com up, since I didn`t finish it. There were lots of things I couldn't get done at that time, I keep finding undone workand unfinished objects all the time now. The last 2 - 3 months of last year were incredible busy at work, well, actually the second half of last year was busy... I`m glad it`s over, it's a new year and I can try to get the everydaylife back on tracks.

Early May last year I was asked to make 4 christmascards for the norwegian magazine Ett Trykk.
Joy and happiness - of course I said yes! Yes, with honor!
And look:
4 of my cards in the magazine!
I still feel my heart beat faster, when I look through the mag - lol
The card in the first picture has an image from Sweet N Sassy, the other three cards have images from My Besties
(photographing pages from a magazine is not the easiest thing to do, here’s the best I managed:

I chose the image Stitcher Fae for my project, and had a really great time colouring it! This image gave me the opportunity to use many, many different colours (list further down).

And this time I’ve made something for myself!
It’s a Folder for those little things that seems to disappear around the house, the things I need to finish off my knitting- and crochetingprojects, or to sew down a loosened button - you know; the everydaystuff that never seems to be where it’s supposed to
- I’ll keep it in my knittingbasket 😊

Isn’t this image just perfect for such a thing!

Inside the folder I have my needles, knittingpins and -markers. I also made a little pocket where I can put… I don’t know yet, but I’m quite sure it’ll be used - maybe for the BIGGER needles…
(The cardbase is cut at 5x12 inches, and scored at 2 and 7 inches, then folded)

The «closingmechanism" on the back of the folder; a punched out halfcircle to keep the flap down - easy, what!

Snøkrystaller/ Snowflakes at Storyteller

Sunday morning, and finally time for a new challenge at
Storyteller
First of all; Thanks a lot to all who joined our last challenge, and a huge congratulation to the winner and especially to the Top 3, that I were the lucky chooser of for this challenge.

The new challenge has the theme

For this challenge I made a card with room for a giftcard inside.
On front of the card I used an old image from hÄnglar och stÄnglar, and decorated with lots of different snowflakes.

Inside the card I used Martha Stewarts Aspen Snowflake PATP-set to punch out greetingpanels:

For my DT-entry I´ve made another Paperbag-Giftcard-Holder

I´ve used a Magnolia-image on this one, coloured with DistressInk - had a little trouble finding colours to match the papers, and I had to use thiese papers ( Powder Mountain Collection from Bo Bunny) to match my new ski-dies from MarianneDesign. Of course I used other dies as well, lots of snowflakes-dies, after all; Snowflakes are part of this challenge :)
