A little while ago I bought the turquoise ribbon, and just have had it on the desk without finding any use for it - I guess you all have things like that :) 

So, for this challenge I decided I´d use that ribbon, and let it very much decide both the colourscheme and the theme on the gifttag.

I used one of the small sized Kraftpaperbags, Kraft- and Whitecoloured cardstock - I like the brownish kraftcolour with turquoise and white…

I used several snowflakedies and snowflakepunches to decorate it - and if you look closely underneath the bow you can see a snowflakecharm too. 

The papersnowflakes (well, actually they´re made out of cardstock) are glittered 

- yuhuu, it´s the glittery-time of the year!

For this chellenge I made another gifttag. Unfortunately the camera isn´t working as it should, so I couldn´t get any photos of the insidetag or the back of the pocket (it must be the camera - can´t be the photografer…), but all sides are kept in the same style and colours as the front.

Christmas Bling at Fashionista Magnolia and More

 I´m back with my card for the 3rd and final week to enter 

the 

CHRISTMAS BLING 

challenge

over at 

Fashionista Magnolia and More Challenge

I have used two of my newest Magnolia-images - aren´t they cuuute!!!

I´ve coloured with DistressInks and a little Glitterstickles, and sprinkled a little Chunky White Embossing Enamel around the image.

All paperedges are lightly inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.

As the challengetheme is BLING, I really let myself go a little wild in different embellishments;

here are several different dies used, cheesecloth, rhinestones and blingstones, a beautiful snowflake-charm, a seambindingribbonbow, lace, pompomribbon, tags and twine

To keep the easelcard standing upright I attached a row of rhinestones:

The insidepanel with place to write a personal greeting can «swing out»…

…and you´ll find a stamped christmasgreeting underneath it…

…when you swing the greetingpanel you´ll find another panel to write a personal message:

There´s also a tag tucked underneath one of the frontside panels

(unfortunately I haven´t taken pictures to show the back of the tag, where there´s a teenytiny christmasbell - it gives such a wonderful little sound when you pull out the tag…)

When the card is completely opened yoy can find another stamped greeting - with some rhinestones around:

Remember; for this challenge you HAVE to use a NO-NOSE Image

So make sure your project follow both the months theme and also the «no-nose»-theme.

No Patterned Papers at My Besties

 Good Monday Morning everyone.

I´m here with a quick post to share my DT-entry for the new challenge at

My Besties

This week we have a rather hard challenge for you

It´s 

No Patterned Papers

As christmas is coming closer I found I need many, many more gifttags, so I decided to make one for this challenge, as well.

I feel I´m a little bit on the edge with my entry, as I´ve patterns on the cardstock - but at least it´s not DPs ;)

I´ve used Kraft- and Light blue Cardstock from Bazzill. I embossed the cardstocks with two different snowflake embossingfolders. Then I gently swiped over the embossing with DistressInk (WalnutStain).

Then I put together the cardstock, lace, ribbon, a few «berries», two snowflakes (one punched and one diecutted) and a seambindingribbonbow with a snowflakecharm on a precut tag.

I put an eyelet into the hole and tied a piece of twine to it, then I put on some tiny Liquid Pearls          - quite easy…

The image is coloured with ProMarkers - and a little Glitterstickles :)

On the back of the tag I stamped «To - From»:

I chose the Anniversary-part, and made a Birthdaycard for a man.

I think mens cards are sooo difficult to make! 

  What is the right way to embellish a card for a man??? I feel I can´t use too much ribbons, laces, blings, glitter and all those stashy stuff I normally do, so most of my mens cards are in the category Clean and Simple…

For this card I used a digi called Birthdayboy from Stitchy Bear

Colour Combo of Red and Green at I ❤️ ProMarkers

 Good Morning, and welcome to my entry for

I ❤️ ProMarkers

new challenge.

This weeks challenge is a 

Colour Combo Challenge, the colours we want to see is

RED and Green

Isn´t that perfect colours for a christmasproject???

To me these two colours are the ultimate christmascolours!

I chose to make another giftbagthing, this time for a bag of chocolates (Twist)

-it is so easy to make! 

I used some really, really old papers. Some of those I´ve had laying around for years, been looking at once in a while and wondered what on earth will I use them for - and why did I ever buy them??? Now I´m quite happy I did, and that I hadn´t thrown them away. I think they were just perfect for this project!

The little bow is made from a little ribbonpiece that was in the category «too long to throw, but I 

don´t know what to use it for» (I have a big box of those…)

On topp of the giftbag I used a Spellbindersdies to cut a hole, to put the top of the chocolatebag through. Then I tied a big, red bow onto it, and - finished 😊

The image is from The Paper Shelter, and called «An Unexpected Meeting». Of course it´s coloured with ProMarkers (list below the picture). Around the image I sprinkled on some Chunky White Embossing Enamel, an a little Shabby Green Embossing Enamel.

Edges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.

Stitching at Ooh La La

Hi again, fellow crafters.

Sorry I´m late showing my creation for 

Ooh La La Creations Challenges

The next fortnights theme is

Stitching - Real or Faux

My stitches are real, I dusted off the sewing machine for this project. All panels are inked, then sewn together.

The image and papers are from the Christmas Angel file on the Yuletide Wishes CD

(Yes I know, it isn´t new of the year, but I still love the beautiful images and papers on it!)

You can find this and many more in the online shop

I couldn´t resist to put on a little glitter on the wings… and a little on the angels clothes…

Around the image I put on teeny-tiny dot of Liquid Pearls and a little aged wine embossing powder.

I also used som lace, seambindingribbon, pearlstrings, flowers and leaves (Martha Stewart punch).

I tied a little button onto the bow, and put a pin through it (a homemade pin!)

To the handle I tied a little tag made with the same image as on the bag, on the back of it I can write To/ From, or a little greeting.

Use Multiple Layers at My Besties US

Good Monday Morning, girls
I´m so excited to show this «giftbag» I made for the new challenge at
My Besties
This challenge is called
Use Multiple Layers
and as you can see I´ve put together several layers of cardstock and papers, with decorations both between the layers and on top of it, so the bag is quite heavy in itself…
This is all my own design. I haven´t seen it anywhere before!
I hope you´ll like it.

The giftbag is designed to cover a bag of marzipan
(I ❤️ marzipan!)
The image, Christmas Bestie img A42, is coloured with ProMarkers and put on a tag that is attached to the bag. Around the image I put on some Aged Copper Embossing Enamel.
The papers are from Papirdesign.
The poinsettia is made with Magnolia DooHickeya and the Holly underneath it is made with a dies from Marianne Design.
All paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.
The little cutout tabs and the sentiment are from Papirdesigns  last years christmaspapers.

Bling at Storyteller

Hello again.

I have made a traditional shaped and folded card for this challenge.
In style I moved a bit out of my comfortzone. I have made steampunk cards before, but not many of them - I guess I just don´t think of this style when I start making my cards.

The image here is Kenny K´s Inspector Em (one of my favourite Kenny K´s).

Snowflakes or Glitter at My Besties Norge

Good morning crafters!
Today is a twopost-day in my blog 😊
This first post is to invite and inspire you to the brand new challenge at
My Besties Norge
This challenge is called
Snowflakes or Glitter
I love snowflakes and glitter, so I used both, but you don´t have to do that - one is enough


I made my card as a pocketcard, with the tag inside decorated in an almost similar way as the front and back of the pocket.
The image is Sherri Baldys Penny Penguin, coloured with ProMarkers. The dots on the dress are «coloured» with Liquid Pearls. Around the image, for a snoweffect, I used Chunky White Embossing Enamel.

The stamped greetings in- and outside and on the tags are from Kort & Godt and Storyteller.
The snowflakes are Sizzix and Magnolia (dies) and Tonic (punch), with lots of glitter on
💖 - LOVE glitter!

This week we have a Glitterchallenge for you - how fun is that!
I really love all that glitters! Loose glitter, glitterstickles, glitterpaper and -cardstock…everything that  have a touch of sparkle 💖

I have made a christmascard for this challenge.
The card is made as a pocketfoldcard, and the image used is Kenny K´s Xmas Greetings.
I dared myself to use bold, bright colours here - even black! I never colour in black! Colouring in black gives me really shaky hands!

Some days ago I saw a fantastic cardfolding in a blog. Unfortunately I didn´t list the blog anywhere. And I couldn´t get the card out of my head. So; I just had to trust in my memory and start trying…

It took me a while, but I made it - and here is the result. I´m actually quite satisfied with it  😊

(and - I wrote down all measurements, so next time it will be easier!)

Third Week of Shabby Chic at Fashionista

This is my last post of the day - I promise :)
I´ve waited so long to show this card, as this is one of the inspirationcards for the 3rd week of
Fashionista Magnolia and More Challenge

Shabby Chic

For this challenge I made a "Magic Card".
I used one of Sherri Baldys My Besties images - remember you have to use a no-nose image for the challenges at Fashionista Magnolia and More.
I put on laces, cheesecloth, flowers, pearls, and tried to "age and wear" it a bit with some DistressInk and paint.
On the lacebow I tied a bow of twine onto a button and attached it to the lacebow.

Exciting NEWS

This is sooo exciting!
And it´s happened so fast,  I´ve rarely had time to keep it a secret…
So today, on my birthday, I can tell you:

FANTASTIC!

As you all may know, I do love my ProMarkers, I really like to colour with them, but always feel
there´s something I could have done better or different when I´ve finished an image - so can you imagine my joy and happiness when I was asked to join the designteam at I Love ProMarkers!
Isn´t that just the perfect birthdaygift for a ProMarker-lover!

Today is the start of the
"PINK HAIR"-Challenge
at
I Love ProMarkers
How fun is that!
I have never tried to colour pink hair before - don´t think I´ve even thought of it as a possibility
-But it worked just perfect for this little beauty - the image is one of  Sherri Baldys My Besties. This one is called Trixie Boo.
(You´ll find a colourlist further down)

Clean and simple inside, the stamps used here are from a really, really old set of clearstamps.
All markings on the box are worn away, so I can´t tell where it is from...

This purple paper is the reason of my colourchoice. I found it at Free Vintage Digital Stamps, and just had to use it! And by "use it" i mean use it immidiately :)
Notice the little bootsbrads - aren´t they cuuuute? - I love them!

Bow:Amethyst, Orchid
