Embossing @ I ❤️ ProMarkers

I chose heatembossing, because I wanted to use UTEE (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel) on the image. I put on 3 layers of the stuff, and got a thick, glossy, kind of glasslooking surface on the image.
The image is Img303,  one of Sherri Baldys My Besties.
The image is coloured with ProMarkers before I put on the UTEE.
The greetings on the little labels (Magnolia DooHickeys) are embossed with Goldcoloured embossingpowder. Greetingtexts are from Storyteller.
DPs are from MajaDesign. Flowers are Papirdesign - just put on some Glitterstickles - I just love the fantastic sparkling of the Glitterstickles!
And, as you can see; all paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.

ProMarkers used to colour the image:
Skin: Ivory, Dusky Pink, Blush, Sunkissed Pink, Tan
Hair: Buttercup, Tulip Yellow, Gold
Clothes: Pastel Blue, Blue Pearl, Denim Blue, Arctic Blue, Sky Blue
Shadow/ Background: Glacier Blue (FlexMarker)

Flowers/ Leaves: Blossom, Pink Carnation, Rose Pink/ Pear Green, Olive Green

For the white dotted highlights in her hair and on the dots on her clothes I used a white GellyRoll marker.

Use a resin embellishment @ Inky Chicks

Hello again, dear friends, followers and crafters.
I’m back to give you a little inspiration for the next fortnights challenge at
Inky Chicks

The theme for this challenge is
Use a Resin Embellishment
-of course you can use more than one if you like…

I have made a tag for this challenge.
The tag is rather large, about 5 x 3 inches, and with the decorations about 6x4 ½ at the widest.
I felt it was ages since I’ve used a Magnolia image, so for this one I decides to do that, and to use DistressInks to colour. Long time since I’ve used those too…
On the tag I used laces, ribbons, cheesecloth, seambindingribbon, twine, a button, a charm, a pin, glitterstickles, real feathers and the resin feather.
I really love all of this embellishments, in fact I love to decorate my cards with as much as possible, so sitting with my pearls and couldn’t find anywhere to put them made me kind of sad…
Around the image I used Frantage Aged Ivory. The flowers are «decorated» with Frantage Shabby White. All paper- and paneledges are inked with DistressInk Walnut Stain.

The DP used (not shown very good on the pictures) is from Magnolia. Before I inked the edges i distressed them a little.

Summerdays With My Besties

Good morning to you all 😊
Midsummer today, but so far the weather haven’t been much summerlike.
Looking out, we have a windy, partial cloudy, cold day at Røst - yet I plan a bonfire night, eating on the porch and have a good outdoor evening.

For the new challenge at
My Besties
I’ve made a summercard
-of course I have, as the theme for this challenge is
Summer Days
The image used on the card is Sherri Baldys Img 831.
It’s coloured with ProMarkers.
I don’t know what this folding is called, but it was quite fun to make, and the card is standig steady.
This card doesn’t have much embellishments, I’d almost call it a CAS card.
the bikini decor is two really old brads I’ve had in my drawer for ages. I had to give the flowers a little touch of glitter, and attach the beautiful butterflycharm to the bow. With a little DistressInk on the paperedges I felt it was enough. Some cards - or is it the images - doesn’t need much decorations…

I‘m back with a card for the new challenge at

I’m not supposed to make a card for this challenge, but with the theme

and the image ready coloured to match the DPs I just had to make a folded card for this challenge too.

Embossing @ Storyteller

Good Sunday Morning.
Today we start a new challenge over at
Storyteller

(wet or dry)

I’ve used both wet and dry embossing on my project, but you can use just one technique.
My project for this challenge is a little giftbag. I like to put the gift in such small bags ( -or bigger bags if the gift is bigger…)
I made this bag in a cute, girly, quite shabby chic style - I hope you like it.

I used two doilies on my card. One heartshaped underneath the image, and one round that I cut in two halves, folded, sprayed with Glimmermist and mounted under the flowerarrangement.
The flowers are from Prima, and have got a little touch of Glitterstickles on.

I also used some laces, seambindingribbon, twine and buttons.
The papers are all from Pion, and have inked edges (DistressInk WalnutStain).
The image panel is made with Spellbinders Labels Four.
 Around the image ond on the edges of the image panel I put on some Frantage (Shabby White).

The image is one of Sherri Baldys My Besties.
This one is called Messy Jessy Img 679.
Of course the image is coloured with ProMarkers, you’ll find the colourlist further down.
The postal stamps are from Kort & Godt.

I’m back with my DT-card for 

I ❤️ ProMarkers

This weeks challenge theme is 

Stripes

For my card I’ve used the image «Back To School».
Yes, I know - we’re just about to finish this schoolyear. But I know a little girl who’ll start her first year at school this autumn, and nothing in life is more exciting than starting school!
I plan to find exciting, cute, little school-accessories for her first day of school.
Though it’s more than 10 years since I quitted teaching, I’m still a teacher at the bottom of my heart, and I truly believe that a good start will make the schoolyears good.

So, this is the card she’ll get on her first schoolday:

(If you come from the I ❤️ ProMarkers blog, you’ll probably see a little difference on the card shown here. I couldn’t help myself, i just had to put on two schoolrelated charms, a bow and a few rhinestones…)

Of course the image is coloured with ProMarkers (colourlist further down in the post), I put on a little frantage Shabby Pink around the image, and framed it with a Glittersticklesborder.

All DPs are from Papirdesign, and I think the dies I used for the doily underneath the image, is from Cheery Lynn (please, feel free to correct me here).

On the purplestriped paper I used Martha Stewarts Eyelet Lace punch.

The back of the card is decorated with the same DPs as the front:

Special Shaped Card @ Inky Chicks

Good Morning all crafters, friends and followers.
I’m back after a rather busy last week and weekend, preparing and celebrating my sons confirmation.
Today I’m here to show you my DT-entry for the next fortnights challenge over at
Inky Chicks
The theme for this challenge is
Special shaped Cards
-so no square or rectangular cards are allowed

win is: 3 digi stamps from the artists that the DT has used images from / up to a value of $10

I used my scalloped circle dies from Spellbinders to make the card. The tag is made with a Magnolia DooHickey. The image is coloured with ProMarkers. On the wings I used some Glitterstickles, and around the image I put on a little Frantage (Aged Silver). Both DPs (inside the card) and ribbons are from Papermania.
The card is made as an easelcard, opened up (picture below), it has a little greeting saing «God Bedring» (Get Well). Behind this greeting banner I put on 3D dots, to hold the card in upright position when opened.

I think these two charms works perfect on this little card :)

I’m really falling behind on my christmascards, so making this one gave me sort of a panicing satisfied feeling… (have to make at least 5 pr month to get back on track…)
