I have decorated a book where I plan to write in my favourite recipes.
I bought this Dp a long time ago, (Vibeke Spigseth Poppydesign), with a recipebook in mind, but  have forgotten completely about the book and the papers until I got this digi-image (from Stitchy Bears, BB Kakes Chef)
Isn’t it just perfect for a recipebook?
I love it - and it was rather easy to colour (though I’m not good at fur…)
Lots of layers - «not quite straight» - put together with some laces, a heartshaped brad, a ribbon and some charms (knife, fork and a spoon), and that’s about it. My book is finished, and here it is:
(The milkcartons on the paper look just like they did when I was a child - love it!)

Birthday @ Storyteller

Good Morning To You All.
Today we have a new challenge for you over at
Storyteller
with the fantastic theme

That’s fun, or what?
We all make birthdaycards, so I hope many of you will join us for this one.
-just remember to use Storytellerproduct on your project :)

I have waited sooo to show you the card I made for this challenge.
I can’t remember to have made anything this boldcoloured or -patterned.
I used Primas Mixed Media Doll Stamp 1, with paperpieced clothes - oh that was FUN!
I chose not to colour or draw a face to the stamped image. I just cut out and glued down the clothes, and added Glitterstickles to the hair.
Because the image is quite tall, the card had to be in a larges size than I normally do, this is about 8x5 inches.

Hello dear friends, Crafters, Visitors and Followers.

Today I’ll just show you a new My Besties-Card I’ve made.

My image is coloured with ProMarkers, lots of pastel colours. And pastel colours on the DPs and embellishments too. 

I’ve used several different dies on the card, you’ll also see laces, ribbons, flowers (with Glitterstickles on), halfpearls, twine… 

The little «tags» tucked underneath the image is made with a Martha Stewart Punch (Eyelet Lace PATP-set). I’ve also used the Vintage Floral PATP-set from Martha Stewart (you can barely see it underneath the embellishments). 

And of course the paperedges are inked with DistressInk Walnut Stain.

Another Vintage ConfirmationCard

Happy Easter,
all crafters out there.
I’m using these days off to catch up on some confirmationcards, but I’m working sooo slow!
I’ve told you before, I’m one of those cardmakers that can sit for hours to decide where to put a flower, or which ribbons or laces to use…
But I’m having a really good time sitting with my stash 😊

Here’s one of the confirmationcards I’ve made.
Vintage style with distressed papers from Pion, Kraft cardstock and laces. The flowers and the image have got a sprinkle with Stampendous Frantage Shabby White Embossing Enamel. I’ve also put on some pearlstrings and halfpearls.
The goldembossed greeting on front is made with a stamp from Kort & Godt.

The insidetext is a stamp from Papirdesign

Looking through my ready stamped images I found this supercute image. Where I’ve got it and wether it’s a digiimage, or a regular stamped image that someone has given to me I really don’t know. 

Wonder why I haven’t used it earlier…

Thanks a lot to all of you who joined us last week for the Easter/ Spring-Challlenge, and a huge congratulation to the winner.
I hold on the theme from last week a little bit, just expanding it with lace and ribbons - and blings.
I knew I one day would find use of the yellow rhinestones I bought years ago!
Aren’t they just perfect on this card???
The DP, with the lovely daffodils are from Papirdesign, and lucky me (!) had daffodils in the yellowflowerdrawer.

On the back of the card I used a little easterbunnypaperdoll, found somewhere on the net. It’s just attached with little gluedots in the corners, so it can easily be loosened for cutting out on a rainy day :)

Lemon and Lime

Hello Friends and Followers
I have made a card very inspired by the colourchallenge over at Sketchy Colors.
My immediate thought when I saw this weeks challengetheme was «this isn`t anything for me».
Yellow and Lime - No, that can’t be done!
As the days went I thought more and more of the colours, and how to make something with the colours lemon and lime.
-So I found one of my many beloved My Besties-images, DPs in the right colours and some long time forgotten ProMarkercolours, and started colouring.
Honestly; I have never used this colourcombination, so finding the ProMarkers for the image - and findig wich of them blended well together was a kind of adventure.
An adventure I think worked out rather well after som trying.  

One of the insidepanels aren’t attached yet. I always stamp the greeting onto the panel before attaching it. When I ‘m not quite sure wich greeting to use, I just leave it like this until I know which stamp to use…

The backside has also got a lime-ish coloured DP:

Vintage Confirmationcard

Good Morning To You All!

Fantastis Saturday, having the weekend off from work, 

I hope to spend many hours in my craftroom - love the thought of it; crafting - coffee, looking through your blogs, coffee, youtubevideos of cardmakingtips, more coffee, maybe a little blogging - just a couple of happydays 😍

Today I want to show you another confirmationcard I’ve just made.

I’m gonna need lots of confirmationscards this year, and I still haven’t started on the boys cards yet! Feeling a little panic! 

On this card I used a digital image from a sheet I won from Scribble and Scrap a little while ago.

The papers are from Pion - love this purplepink shade!

To decorate it I’ve used a little lace, a perlstring, some flowers, leaves and halfpearls - and a couple of dies. The swirldie is from MarianneDesign, I don’t know where the one I used for the textpanel is from. The textstamp is from Kort & Godt.

On the inside I used a textstamp from Papirdesign and a swirlstamp from Inkadinkado.
