Sizzix Graceful Flourish Tag

Hi again.
I know I have showed you this die from Sizzix earlier, but I have to say it has become one of my favourite dies. I think it works so well with my shabby chic, vintage projects

Sizzix Thinlits Die Graceful Flourish by Pete Hughes

Here I have used it on a shabby chic tag.
The tag has an old christmas light holder glued on.
The light holder attaches the tag to the belt wrapped around the magazines.
This way the magazines don't make just a pile of clutter, but become a little decoration.

My project this week is a christmas tag, made in a CAS style.
I've used Dr.Digis image Snow Fun, coloured with ProMarkers.
Over the image I sprinkled some Frantage Chubby White, and had to put on a little glitter on the snowman...
A silver coloured ribbon, a bow and little christmas greeting - and finished :)

With this card I’m back to my pale colours, the «vintage-Shabby» style I like so much.
I’ve used DPs from FabScraps, dies from Spellbinders, Magnolia and Marianne design.
Here are laces and pearlstrings, white seambindingribbontied into a bow, with small clocks tied on. Around the image I put on a little Chunky White Frantage.
-And of course the paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.

Inside; panels made with Martha Stewart PATP-set and a stamp from Papirdesign:

Luckily this part of the paper was at the right bottom corner of the DP - perfect to put on the back of the card:

I have made a christmascard for this challenge.
As you can see, I’ve done a lot of distressing, tearing, ripping and inking, to give the card an aged, vintage look.
The cardbase is made of Bazzill Kraft Cardstock. DPs are from MajaDesign, Vintage Frost basics. Here’s also some pieces of corrugated paper.
I made the tag behind the image wth a Magnolia DooHickey die. I also used Martha Stewarts Aspen Snowflake borderpunch on the card.
To decorate it I put on some cheesecloth, a couple of laces, two «swirlthings», a rolled flower and some halfpearls.
The stamped greeting on the banner beneath the image is from Ladybug and Friends.
Inside the card I used stamped texts from Kort & Godt and Norsk Stempelblad AS.

I chose to make an eastercandybagtag as my CAS-project.
Lots of yellow here (even some yellow candies inside the bag), a little dark brown, just one die (Spellbinders), some flowers and ribbons and the coloured image with a little Frantage Shabby White Embossing Enamel sprinkled over. That’s how clean and easy I can manage…

Baby/ Kids @ My Besties

Good Morning All Crafters.
Today I’m here to show you my DT-project for the new challenge at
My Besties
The theme this fortnight is
Baby/ Kids

The minute I saw this image I knew I wanted to make it into a wallhanging for a childrensroom. With it I’ve used a «Good night»-rhyme/ -song.
Everything is mounted on a very thick cardboardbase.
The backgroundpaper, I think, is from Papirdesign. The rhyme is printed on a piece of paper from MajaDesign. 

Underneath the image I put some tags, made with Magnolia DooHickeys. The swirls are also Magnolia DooHickeys.
The hearts are punched with a Martha Stewart punch.
I also used soe ribbons and laces. To the seambindingribbonbow I attached a few charms.
On the paperedges I used DistressInk WalnutStain.
-And of course I had to put on some pearls, and a little cheesecloth under the image…

The theme for this weeks challenge is
«Let’s Get Spotty»
-so I found my dotted papers and coloured up an image from Kenny K to go with them.
The card - or should I call it a tag? - is a double slider card.
This video from Dawn explains easy how to make such a card.

I try to make some of the cards and tags I’ll need for christmas all through the year, and this is one of the «march-christmas-creations»

It is so cool; as you pull the ribbons to pull the tag upwards it also slides out downwards:

Magnolia GiftTag

Hello again

Thursday evening, and I have 4 days off from work, «weekend» untill Tuesday - Wonderful times!

I may even find time to do more blogposts, I have several projects I haven’t posted yet :)

Tonight I want to show you a little gifttag I’ve made - yes, it’s for a christmasgift. I love to put homemade tags on my christmaspresents.

I’ve used one of my newest Magnoliaimages, coloured with ProMarkers. I really need some pinkcolouring-practise, I find it really hard to work out which pinktones blend well together…

The tag is made with a Nellie’s-die as base

Underneath the image I put a «goldencreamcoloured" lace, the I decorated around it with some hearts (dies from Memory Box and punch from Martha Stewart). The snowflake is a Magnolia DooHickey, with a little, blue rhinestone in the middle, just to match the ribbon and the bow.

The paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain, as usual.
