And again, it's a Wednesday I'm traveling. This time only in the area around Bodø, and only for 3 days. And hopefully this is the last work-related journey this year!

As Halloween is coming closer I wanted to make a little treat bag for some Halloween goodies.
I got the image Spook (Boo) from Dr. Digi. 
The only colours I used on it was Warm Grey 1, 3 and the Blender. 
On the letters I used GlitterStickles (oh, I L O V E that stuff!). 
The Boo-dies and the numbers (31) are from Tim Holtz. 
I can't remember where I got the embossing folder from. 
I made the two bigger ghosts by drawing around two chipboard ghosts on white Bazzill cardstock, then I cut them out, inked the edges (DistressInk BlackSoot) and put on some of those kind of rolling eyes. 
The ribbon, ghost charm and ghost pin are many years old - actually this was the very last bit of the ribbon, so I'll have to search for new halloween ribbons...

I have decorated a brown paperbag - nice for a halloween treat, I think.
The image Halloween Cat, from Fabric Fantasy, is coloured with ProMarkers, the edges of the image panel I inked with DistressInk BlackSoot. I think the DPs are from Authentique, but please correct me if I'm wrong about this.
Isn't the web and spider dies (Yvonne Creations) just adorable - I love them!
I attached one of the spiders with a thin black thread, so it can move around.
I also used some black lace, some pom pom ribbon, a halloween charm and a pumpkin pin to decorate the paperbag.

I have made a pair of lollipop cards. Well, I call them cards, but actually I think I'll just keep them myself as a Halloween decoration...
I've used images from LaLa Land, DPs from Authentique, The die is also from LaLa Land. The embellishments are of various brands, from my little Halloween-Stash box.
Of course I've used ProMarkers to color the images.

Exciting NEWS

This is sooo exciting!
And it´s happened so fast,  I´ve rarely had time to keep it a secret…
So today, on my birthday, I can tell you:

As you all may know, I do love my ProMarkers, I really like to colour with them, but always feel
there´s something I could have done better or different when I´ve finished an image - so can you imagine my joy and happiness when I was asked to join the designteam at I Love ProMarkers!
Isn´t that just the perfect birthdaygift for a ProMarker-lover!

Today is the start of the
"PINK HAIR"-Challenge
at
I Love ProMarkers
How fun is that!
I have never tried to colour pink hair before - don´t think I´ve even thought of it as a possibility
-But it worked just perfect for this little beauty - the image is one of  Sherri Baldys My Besties. This one is called Trixie Boo.
(You´ll find a colourlist further down)

Clean and simple inside, the stamps used here are from a really, really old set of clearstamps.
All markings on the box are worn away, so I can´t tell where it is from...

This purple paper is the reason of my colourchoice. I found it at Free Vintage Digital Stamps, and just had to use it! And by "use it" i mean use it immidiately :)
Notice the little bootsbrads - aren´t they cuuuute? - I love them!

3 B's at Fussy and Fancy

Good Friday Morning, everyone!

Have you joined in on Fussy and Fancy Fridays 3B's challenge yet - if you haven't you still have a short week to do it - hurry up!
The 3 B's we want to see are Black, Border punch and Bling.

I have made a box (filled with chocolates for halloween).
The image is a digistamp, Witch Marci, from La-La Land Crafts, coloured with ProMarkers.
I used a Border punch from Martha Stewart and dies from Spellbinders and Marianne Design.
I put on some violet halfbeads, black stones and rhinestones (can you see that Marci's got one on her hat - I couldn't stop myself from putting one there - LOL...
The lid is tied to the box with a purple bow - NOT to be opened until October 31.!
On top of the box I punched two scalloped circles, stamped a halloweengreeting on the smallest and put them on - with black stones on the purple circle and rhinestones on the black circle.

You DO NOT have to make something for Halloween for the Fussy and Fancy challenge, just make sure you bring on the 3B's

Trick-or-Treat-Bag

We're now into the second week of Fussy and Fancy Fridays "Fall or Halloween!"-challenge, so if you haven't joined yet, you just have a few days left...

This is my DT-entry for the challenge - for idea and inspiration :)
I've used a digistamp from Bugaboo - isn't this Trick-or-treat-dressed girl just adorable!
I've had her for some time, but wanted to save her for some special occasion - like this :)
Yes, she is coloured with ProMarkers, and I've used a white Sakura Gelpen to highlight some parts.
The orange DP is from Panduro, a really heavyweight paper, a tough job for the Marthe Stewart Punch to punch through...
To close the bag I used a black brad (the zigzagborder below the image is also a brad), as it is easyer than a bow, for children to open and close...

Halloweencandles

Good morning everyone :)

Just a quick post, with a little thing I made last weekend.
In my house we decorate for halloween, we dress up in spooky costumes and have a really nice day/ evening (I use to dress up as a witch :D)

Here's a little candlebox I made for halloween.
Not many colours used - only black and purple, but I think it gives the right halloweenfeeling.
I used a sitting Tilda (coloured with ProMarkers, of course), and cut a few "wood"sticks to place her upon.
In the branches behind I put on a few purple and violet beads, tied a bow around the candles - and... finish :D

Halloween Garland

In my house we've started to prepare for Halloween.
Lots of black, orange, purple and green coloured stash have been found.
We're looking through old stash and planning the new.

Here's a new garland I made the other day - a new garland made of old stuff, LOL...
I used Heddas cuttlebugalphabet for the letters on the garland - 9 letters, 9 banners.
I used three Magnoliaimages (2 Tildas and 1 Edwin), coloured with ProMarkers.
In the scrapbox I found different HalloweenDPs that I distressed and attached to the banners before decorating them in different ways.
The orange tickets are digistamps from Whimsy ( which I won(!) some weeks ago) - aren't the great :D

Lantern for Halloween

Oh, have I had trouble with this one!
Not the making of it, but with the candle inside. The candle is batteryoperated (clever!), but I couldn't find batteries that worked. They worked for a little while, but as I put the lantern on the table to photograph it, the candle stopped burning. I changed to new batteries three times, but it didn't get any better. So I dropped the whole idea of this candle, and decided to find another. Then, in the evening I walked by the lantern, and there it was; shining so bright and wonderful - and I understood it: of course - something inside the candle makes it burn when it's dark! There wasn't something wrong with neither the batteries, nor the candle!
And it will, of course, not be possible to take pictures of the lantern with the light glowing!

The lantern is made of Bazzill Cardstock (orange and black). I used a MS Punch to make the handle and the decorative border at the bottom. The Image is from Magnolia, coloured with ProMarkers. Behind her I put some black lacefabric.

Anonyme Scrappere has a challenge where they want us to make lanterns, and my lantern is for that challenge.
Luckily I figured out how that candled worked before the challenge closed (with very little margins - LOL)

Haunted house

Oh, this card was fun to make!
The castle is made of Bazzill cardstock, and builded up with 3D-foampads - it doesn't show well here, but the towers are in different dephts.
The witch and the devil (Magnolia) fold down when the card is closed, and pop-up when it opens :)
I've used tiny black brads behind the figures to hold the card open, and on one of the "cobwebs" to make it slide around to show the text "Happy Halloween". I drew eyes on the brads and thin legs on the cardstock underneath the brads, to make it look like spiders :)

Here the card is closed - not very exciting...
