Vintage Confirmation

Confirmation - this time of year again. And this year I had a confirmand myself.
May 15th was my daughter, Heddas, confirmation.

I love making card for confirmations, especially girls confirmations.
I've tried to make this in a vintage, shabby-like style. I've used laces, frantage, cheesecloth, seambindingribbon, a flower and a ribbon with printed confirmation text. I mounted the image on to a panel made with a die I think is from Spellbinders.
As base for the card I used Bazzill Kraft cardstock, finished size is 4"X6".

The inside is folded to make pocket for a gift card (or money) inside:

Of course I have made a thing (with wings) to inspire you to join us.
I used the image Heart Box Angel on my project this week.
And what I've made this week is a wall hanging.
I used papers from Maja Design, and coloured the image in colours I think matched the papers.
Around the image I sprinkled on a little Shabby White Frantage.
To decorate the wall hanging I used Flowers, lace, pearlstrings, cheesecloth, twine and a button.
The little stamped text is from Kort&Godt.
In one of the bottom corners I put a magnet underneath the DP, it's meant to hold pins I often use when I have to make quick fixings...
All paperedges are distressed and inked with DistressInk WalnutStain

Yet I really love the winter time - even darkest days and the days with the worse weather - I love it when spring arrives and the days are longer, when the sun start to warm a little…

So for this challenge I have made an easel card, where I have ripped, torn and inked - really distressed - all paperedges.
With these rough egdes I tried to use more soft, sweet decorations and colours. I think it worked out rather well with both glitter and bling on this card.

With this card I’m back to my pale colours, the «vintage-Shabby» style I like so much.
I’ve used DPs from FabScraps, dies from Spellbinders, Magnolia and Marianne design.
Here are laces and pearlstrings, white seambindingribbontied into a bow, with small clocks tied on. Around the image I put on a little Chunky White Frantage.
-And of course the paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.

Luckily this part of the paper was at the right bottom corner of the DP - perfect to put on the back of the card:

I’m sorry I’m a bit late with todays post - I stayed up too late last night, doing «christmassy things», and had completely forgot to push «plan» on this blogpost, so when I slept too long today, my post didn’t go live…

For my DT-entry this week I’ve made a Tag.
The tag is tied onto a bag of «Chocolate-Snowballs», homemade little, white chocolateballs, that my family think is delicious. And I think this image (from Stitchy Bear) is just perfect for thos purpose.
I’ve used old DPs from Ladybug and Friends. T decorate I used several dies, a little bit of silvercoloured lace, some pearlswirls and -strings, and some halfpearls and blingstones of course.
Paperedges are distressed and inked.
Then I used a bit of string to tie the tag onto the bag.
The image is, of course coloured with ProMarkers, the snowman and his snowballs have got some Glitterstickles on as well.

Hi again, dear friends.
Today there’s a new challenge at
My Besties Norge

This time with the theme

Distress, Tear or Smear

I have made a little Tag-/ Gift-/ Pocketcard for this challenge.
I’ve used a papaerpocket from Søstrene Grene, DPs from MajaDesign.
The dies are Magnolia DooHickeys.
I’ve also used some lace, twine, seambindingribbon, halfpearls, cheesecloth, a button and two little bells.
-And of course all paperedges are inked and teared and inked again.
The imagepanel is sewn to the backingpanel.
I «highlighted» some spots on the snowman with a little Glitterstickles.
Around the image I sprinkled on some Frantage Chunky White.

The tag inside the pocket has place for a giftcard…

…on the other side it has a little christmasgreeting

I have made a christmascard for this challenge.
As you can see, I’ve done a lot of distressing, tearing, ripping and inking, to give the card an aged, vintage look.
The cardbase is made of Bazzill Kraft Cardstock. DPs are from MajaDesign, Vintage Frost basics. Here’s also some pieces of corrugated paper.
I made the tag behind the image wth a Magnolia DooHickey die. I also used Martha Stewarts Aspen Snowflake borderpunch on the card.
To decorate it I put on some cheesecloth, a couple of laces, two «swirlthings», a rolled flower and some halfpearls.
The stamped greeting on the banner beneath the image is from Ladybug and Friends.
Inside the card I used stamped texts from Kort & Godt and Norsk Stempelblad AS.

My DT-project for this challenge is a double sided timetable. One side for each of my kids. The sides are quite similar, but have «nametags» in the right bottom corners, so it should be possible to see wich timetable belongs to wich child. And as there always will be changes during the year, I plan to write the subjects in with pencil…
