Blue Christmascard

Tonight I have a christmascard to show again. I think christmascards is my all-time-favourite cards to make. I always get happy making christmascards :D

I think the papers on this card are from Panduro and MajaDesign. I just love the icy blue colours on these.
The image is Edwin, from Magnolia, coloured with ProMarkers. He's got a little "fur" on his jacket - I think it's soo cute!
I've also used a Martha Stewart edgepunch, Spellbinders Dies Labels Fifteen and Classic Ovals LG, a Magnolia Snowflake doohickey, a Tonic Snowflakepunch, flowers from Wild Orchid, brads, bling and liquid pearls.
I've distressed all edges, using DistressInk WalnutStain.
On the front of the card I sew the panels down.
The texts, both on the front and inside the card is from Kort&Godt.

The inside of the card. I like to put quite large blank panels inside the card, to give space to write a few words...

A close-up of Edwin with a present and a basket full of apples - RED apples for christmas :)
This picture hopefully shows the bling and liquidpearls a bit better:

My blue christmascard will go into these challenges:
Sunday Sketch & Stamp - Sketch
Allsorts Challenge Blog - It's your choice
The Crazy Challenge - Anything Goes

Turquoise Birthdaycard

Tonight I have a birthdaycard to show you.
The last days I've felt really sick; sneezing, coughing, fever, even my ears have hurt - I've never felt pain in the ears before! So - I've used far more time making this card than I usually do, just managed a few minutes every now and then... But, now it's finished, and here it is :)
I used lovely papers from Magnolia in a kind of blue-greenish tone, very close to turquiose I'd think. I've tried to colour Tildas dress in a colour close to the papers, I used ProMarkers for the colouring.
I used Spellbinders Labels Ten for the shape of the card, and folded it "the easel-way" - I always come back to that folding.
I used a Martha Stewart edge punch on one of the panels. The small stars are punched out, then painted with a glitterpaint. After the paint had dried I distressed the edges, like I did to all edges of the panels as well.
The flowers and leaves are from Magnolia. I sprayed the flowers with Glimmermist, and the leaves have got a little paint on them.
I also put on some pearlstrings along with the roses.
Beneath the Tilda-panel i put a doohickey-tag, to give a little extra space to write a friendly greeting.
Inside the card I used the same Spellbinders-die to make the greetingpanel, one of the smaller ones. I glued down some halfbeads onto this panel, both for decoration and to keep the easelcard standing up.
Now, I'll shut up, stop writing, and rather show two more pictures of the card:
close-up of Tilda. I'm quite pleased with the colouring on her dress :D

I'll enter the following challenges with the card:
MDUC - Sketch
MSL - Fairytale
Alota Rubber Stamp - Shaped Card
Allsorts - Anything Goes
Saturday Challenge - Bingo (Glitter/ Pearls/ Leaves)
Little Darlings - Pearls
Crafty Creations - Fancy Folds

Birthdaytag

Today I have a birthdaytag to show. It's made with Magnoliaimages and -Dps.
I've used a lot of pink, shiny, glittery, girly embellishments, like flowers, pearls, halfbeads, laces, ribbons - you know what I mean!
Tilda got lot of pink glitter on her dress and her hair is highlighted with goldcoloured glitter.
I also used a goldcoloured heartcharm.
All edges of the Dps are distressed (DistressInk PumiceStone).
I made the letters with My daughters Cuttlekids alphabet (haven't found any alphabets as cute as this one...)

on the back I stamped a greeting with a stamp from Norsk Stempelblad (19B), and put on some halfbeads.

close-up of Tilda in her glittery dress :)
I'll send my card to these challenges:
Just Magnolia - Make a Tag
Simply Magnolia - Red &/ or Pink with White

February Christmascards

Today I finished my three februarychristmascards for Hjertebodens Julebloggs year-long challenge. 10 months to go, 30 cards to make - easy, peasy! Well, it's easy to say when it's snow outside...

This month I made three quite different cards, but all with lovely Magnoliaimages on - it seems I'm becoming more and more fond of Tilda and Edwin each time I use them. I coloured with ProMarkers, as I use to :)
Papers are mainly from Papirdesign, Panduro, Majadesign and Pion Design - and some pieces from my scrapbox.
I've used all kinds of embellishments (charms, rhinestones, halfbeads, ribbons, laces - you name it...), dies, punches, glitter... - and my all time favourite doohickey; the snowflake!

With each card I'll give you the links to the challenges I'll enter in addition to
Hjertebodens Juleblogg, they have a Bingochallenge this month.
I managed both 1, 2 and 3 rows with my cards :D

First my blue christmascard, with Edwin out in the snow, goes for these challenges:
NSHK #48 - Winter Wonderland
Magnolia-Licious - Blue and Brown
Christmas Challenges (with sketches) - Sketch
The Paper Shelter #51 - Winter Blues
Hjertebodens Juleblogg - Bingo;
I have 2 rows; Charm/ Blonde/ Glitter and Tag/Doohickey/ Glitter

My Easelcard will go into these challenges:

Christmascards all year round - Heart
Hjertebodens Juleblogg - Bingo; on this card I have it ALL, 3 rows (Charm, Blonde, Distress, Hyssing, Blomster, Hjerte, Tag, Doohickey, Glitter)

And my third card, the "Magic Card", will go to these challenges:
Sketchy Colors - Sketch

I think it is so "cute" that it can stand upright with just the two little flaps on the sides ;)

Magic Wedding Card

For the 4. and last challenge of Anonyme Scrapperes Anonyme Timeglass I've made the card that's been in the back of my mind for the whole challengeperiod. The theme for all challenges have been Valentine or Love, in different variations. This last challenge is a free challenge (but still with the Love/ Valentine theme, though).
I made the card as a Magic Card, the Tutorial is made by Marianne for StampARTic. It is really easy to follow, and I think these cards are truly wonderful, and perfect for weddingcards (and for birthdaycards, and christmascards and... the list goes on and on...)
I used a picture from a Valentinemagazine I think I bought last year (but as quickly as the years go by, it might just as well be three years ago...) I cut it out and distressed the edges - like I did to all edges, With DistressInk WalnutStain.
I used a Martha Stewart edgepunch along the edges.
The textstamps are from Papirdesign ("Til brudeparet"). On the frontside I embossed the texts with gold embossingpowder, the I cut out the text and rings - using both scissors and knives, a h*** of a job!!!
Inside the card I used Spellbinders Labels Four for the panels.
That should be about it...

Here comes the card, first the front, standing. Then the inside, and at last the back of the card:

I have had so much fun making the projects for the four challenges at Anonyme Scrappere. I considered it well before I joined the challenge, well aware that I wouldn't have as much time as I use to, or like to, for the challenges, but I also felt that the timeaspect was a challenge in itself, that I could need. Now I know that I can work quite fast - if I need :)

I'll enter the Magic Wedding Card into the following challenges as well:
DYSU #58 - Love
PaperPlay Challenges - Love Letters
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
and Of Course:
Anonyme Scrapperes Anonyme Timeglass

Giftbag

For Anonyme Timeglass' 3. challenge I made a giftbag. This challenge is "Hearts and Roses".
I used the lovely papers from Piondesign - lovely aren't they...
The edges are distressed, I punched hearts and butterflies and used together with roses and pearls for decorations on the bag.
-Of course the hearts and the roses are sprayed over with glimmermist :)
The hearts I used at the ribbonends have got a heavy layer of GlossyAccents on.
I made a big heart to use as closing of the bag, and decorated it the same way.
I don't have a stamp with the poem I wanted to use on the bag, so I had to write by hand. It took some practices before I dared write it onto the cutout. First I wrote very, very soft with a pencil, then I wrote over with a light grey felttip-pen - rather shaky when I finished writing :s

Here's the back of the giftbag, I think the wonderful DP (with a border) was enough decorating - some papers are just too beautiful to cover...
close-up of the poem, in my best hanwriting...

I'll also enter these challenges with the Giftbag:
Joanna Sheen - Love is in the air
If the Shoe Fits ... Scrap It! - Anything Goes
DYSU - Love
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Papercraft Star - Hearts
Deep Ocean - Love

My Heart Belongs to Daddy...

I made it! I've finished my second creation for Anonyme Timeglass at Anonyme Scrappere :D
Happy, happy - 2 finished, 2 to go!

Starting on this card I meant I had a really good idea, almost a perfect plan; I'd make the card for my fathers birthday (in 2 months time, but I had the inspiration for it now...), I'd use papers from Pions "For Father"-collection, I'd try to use elements that would reflect things I know he likes. It would have to be manly and elegant, and I would use a heartshape for it.
Many, many times while making it I struggled, I have to admit.
I really had to search for the Sudokupaper I knew I had somewhere (took some time, but I found it!) What I didn't find was my tiny heartshaped punches. Having searched for them for about half an hour I remember that Hedda last night asked to bring them to school today, in case they should make mothersdaycards (arts and crafts at Friday - she loves it).
Well, I found other solutions (pearls and charms, and though it's a males card I think the flowers looks nice on it - men deserves flowers too, I think.)
Having been a fisherman all of his life, I knew i had to use fish on the card, Kaisercraft has a lovely pad called Hunt & Gather, where I found a paper full of fish and cut out a few to use on this one.
So, now I won't write more, here come the pictures of the card, laying flat, opened and a close-up at last:

My fathers birthdaycard will go into these challenges:
Anonyme Scrappere - Anonyme Timeglass
Papirdokkene - Vise Kjærlighet
One stitch At A Time - With Love

Red and Pink for Mothers Day

I have joined in on Anonyme Scrapperes "Anonyme Timeglass"-challenge.
I just hope I find time and inspiration to finish all 4 coming challenges.
The theme for all challenges will be Valentine/ Love, and this first challenge is called Red or Pink.
Having only a day to complete each project it can be difficult for me, who can sit moving around bits and pieces for hours - well, maybe it is just this kind of challenge I need once in a while...
I couldn't decide wether to use red or pink, but then I came to think about a few other challenges going on, that wanted us to use red and pink together.
Red and pink!
I can't remember to have tried that before!
Funny - I had to give it a go, and here is my project:
This is a card for my mother (firstcoming Sunday is Mothersday in Norway). Well, it's not only a card, it is a folder where she can put her Bingosheets.
Every Tuesday night our local radiostation arranges bingo, and I know she likes to play bingo, so I decided to make this one for her (and to put some Bingostuff in it - unfortunately I forgot to buy the other sheet they use to play...still many days 'till Sunday, still time to buy it... :D)
I used cardstock from Bazzill and DPs from Pion. The image is a Magnolia, coloured with ProMarkers and dressed in a paperpieced dress. I used a Spellbinders die for the panels behind Tilda. All edges are distressed (DistressInk WalnutStain). Then I decorated with lace, gazcloth, pearls, Liquid Pearls, flowers, pearlstrings, punched hearts, ribbons and bows. The Bingosheet is printed from the internet, I also sprayed two tags (one pink and one red) and stamped a little greeting onto them. On the punched hearts on the leftside of the card I wrote "MAMMA" ("MOTHER" in norwegian)
(Think,and hope, I remembered everything).
The next picture shows the inside, where I made two "pockets" to put the Bingosheets,
...and the backside. Very simple, but I had to show the lovely DP from Pion.

So, I'll send my mothers Bingofolder for these challenges:
Anonyme Scrappere, Anonyme Timeglass - Red or Pink
Totally Tilda - Pink and Red Together
Cupcake Craft Challenges - Pink and Red
NSHK - Hjerter (Hearts)
I Love ProMarkers - Love is in the Air

(and hope she won't visit my blog before Sunday ;)

Hanging Hearts

These two wallhangings will go up on my wall (leftside of my mirror :D) for ValentinesDay - well I plan to have them hanging there for a while longer than for that day only, but I think that will be a nice occasion to put them up :)
I used these two "shy-looking" Magnolias - I think they're soo cute, and perfect for a "love you"-project like this.
The big hearts are made of quite heavy corrugated cardstock, then covered with DPs that I painted "a little" white over, and distressed the edges on.
I stamped some swirls onto the hearts with DistressInk, I think that ink can give a little softer tone than other inks.
Then I put on most everything of the stuff I love; doilies, laces, swirls, pearls, bows, flowers, charms and blings - oh, and glimmermist and glitter, not to forget - LOL
Of course the images are coloured with ProMarkers.

Here comes a couple of close-ups, first the Tilda-heart:
...and here is Edwins heart:

I'll enter these challenges with my Hanging Hearts:
TOMIC #35 - Valentine and Hearts
MDUC #132 - Love Is In The Air
Magnolia-licious Highlites - Vintage & Shabby Chic
Magnolia-Mania #139 - Anything Goes
Simply Magnolia - Hearts & Love

Black and White

I have tried to make a card in Black & White, like a black/ white photo s0 actually it is more grey and white (- or like TV in my childhood - LOL)
I used ProMarkers, Warm Grey (1 - 5) and the blender, to colour Tilda and the piano.
All Dps are in Greytones. The cardstock is Bazzill Bling in a kind of Satinwhite colour - I think i looked nice with all the grey.
Underneath the grey lace I used a kind of gazcloth (from a firstaidkit!).
The biggest flower is from Magnolia, this one was in a wonderful black/grey-colourtone.
The smaller flowers had a strange grey-blue-colour, so I had to use my ProMarkers to give them what I thought was the right colour...
All layers are sewn to the background, the edges are distressed.
I used dies from Spellbinders and Mariannedesign, both for the insidepanels and for "decorative purpose" on the outside.
The greeting inside is made with a textstamp from Norsk Stempelblad AS.
I also put on some LiquidPearls (Platinum Pearl), and some noteshaped brads I've had around for years.

I'll join these challenges with my Black & White Card:
ProMarker Norge #2 - Svart/hvitt (som et svart/hvitt foto)
Ett Trykk - Monokromatisk
Kort o Mania # 56 - Skisse
Card and Scrap #25 - Shabby Chic

Birthdaycard

I have tried to make a girliy, shabby chic/ vintage-styled birthdaycard - I'm not quite sure I've succeeded with the plan I had when I started, but this is how it turned out.
I even made a matching envelope for it :D
I used a digital image, bought from Funky Kits some time ago. I think Grace standing is absolutely adorable. I'm quite satisfied with the colouring on this one (ProMarkers, of course), so I figure she can't be difficult colouring ;)
I used two DPs from MajaDesign. The paper with the butterflypattern was a piece I've had laying around for ages, never finding the right use for it - until now, when I used it as backing of the image, and cut some butterflies out of it. I glittered these butterflies before I attached them to the card.
I've also used some dies to cut different swirls and the insidepanels.
All edges are distressed, and I used the sewingmachine on the edges of the panels on the frontside of the card.
Here's the inside. I used two different Martha Stewart Butterflypunches.
The textstamp is from Kreativ Hobby and the swirlstamps are from Autumn Leaves.
The back of the card; can it be made simpler...

Now; the challenges I put my card into:
CLP Challenge Blog - Sketch
Charisma Cardz Challenges - Vintage
Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog - It's All About the Girls!
One Stitch At A Time - Anything Goes
