Stjernekort

***

Another card from me today :)
(After a friend cleaned my pc it's superquick, I can work really fast now :D)
This card is for Sukkersøtt's challenge #96 "Folding technique".
It's an easelcard with a folded star.

***

This is how it looks opened - cute, I think :)
In the middle of the star I've used a punched and embossed cardstock as background for Tilda (I hope you can see the bling in her ear :))
Around the edges I've stamped some swirls and inside the card I've used two starshaped brads to make sure it won't fall flat :)

Easelcard/ matchboxholder/ christmascard

I'm not quite sure what to call this; it is a easelcard for christmas mounted upon a matchboxholder :)
For the cardtop I've used the sketch from Fridays Sketchers #123
The maincolours in the card, and the box, are Pink, turquoise and grey, which are the colourchallenge at Sketchy Colors challenge #42
And because it is a christmascard (and more), it's for Alphabet Challenge Blogs challenge "X is for Xmas" (I don't like to write Xmas with an X)
Here I've tried to close the card, not easy when it has been opened while I've taken many, many photos to have one ore two that can be used. It is NOT easy to get good pictures at this time of the year...

Rundt julekort

Sweet Stampin Challenge #46 lyder Punch it out.

Magnolia-christmas-train

The last issue of Magnolia Ink Magazine (awesome magazine, I try to buy every issue) had a pattern and tutorial to a wonderful candytrain. This is how I made my train - to fill with christmascandies :)
In the train I've put four Magnoliafigures (painted with my watercolourpencils).
I've used lace around the wagons, and decorated the wheels, and randomly around with snowflakes punched with my MS-snowflakepunch (love it!)
Challenge #110 at Cupcake Craft Challenges is "Pink and Brown", so I hope this train can take part in that challenge.
The wagons are tied together with twine.

I'm a bit proud of the result :) and can hardly wait to fill it with marzipan :)

Purple & Silver iceskating Tilda

"Purple & Silver" is this weeks challenge (#102) at Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge.
Wonderful colours, especially for a christmascard, I think.
I used these colours with the sketch from Just Magnolia (week 74), to make this card.
I think this iceskating Tildagirl is so adorable. Here I've coloured her to fit in with the violet and purple colours in the card. I've flocked the furs on her coat (doesn't show well in the picture).
I rubbed a silvercoloured stamppad very gently over the embossed cardstock.
The snowflakes are covered with silvercoloured glitterglue.
The purple glittery cardstock is barely showing around the edge of the silvercoloured DP :)
The textstamp is sliding up (picture above) and down (picture below) the organzaribbon :)

Material list:
Cardstock: Bazzill, DCWW
2 DPs
Cuttlebug Embossingfolder "Allegro"
Stamp: Magnolia, Papirdesign
Stamppads: Stazon, Versafine, Versacolor silver
MS punch Snowflake
Watercolourpencils
Flock
Glitterglue
Organzaribbon

Birthdaycard for a man

There are lots of birthdays in our family in October. This card is for one of the men :)
Like most cardmakers I find it a lot more difficult to make cards for boys and men than for girls and women. This one though, I'm quite satisfied with...
...so I'll send it to the challenges at
Friday Sketchers #121 - Sketch
Material list:
Cardstock: Bazzill
DP: Graphic 45 "A Proper Gentleman Collection"
corrugated paper
paper- and fabricribbons.
One journal page, from a Making memories journaling book, on the inside.
"Screw"brads
The labelholder (metal) is from one of my drawers...
Stamps: Kort & Godt "Mann på motorsykkel"
Clear ministamps text from Inkadinkado,
and some text- and bracketstamps I can't remeber where I bought.
The playingcards are from an old cuttingsheet from Tim Holz.
DistressInk "black soot"
Embossingpowder gold

Brownish christmascard with Tilda

I'm dreaming of a white christmas - but most of the christmascards I make seem to be in some brownish shades...
Tilda here is sitting on the sugarboxes just waiting :)
This card I'll send for these challenges:

Just Magnolia - Lace it up
Winter Wonderland - Monochromatic card
Christmas Card Challenges - Distressed cards
The ABC Challenge - D is for distressing

On the inside I've placed a greeting and a lined card to write a few words :)

I guess you, fellow cardmakers, can imagine how my fingers looked after stamping, colouring, distressing, glimmermisting and coffeedying - not pretty, but what a lovely time I had!

Her er kortet åpnet (staffelikort).

...the night before christmas...

With this card I'm back to my watercolourpencils again, I think some stamps looks better when I use my watercolours, softer in a way... And I love to use them :)
The stamp is from Sarah Kay, showing this little girl hanging her stockings by the fireplace - isn't she lovely - I'll give you a closer look :)
Beside the image I've stamped and embossed the word "Believe" - important both for young and old, but maybe most for children...
I'll send this card to the challenges at:
Bah! Humbug! - Favourite medium

A merry christmas to you

Now I have a handful of christmascards ready to be written and sent...
This one I really had to think about, before starting :s
I found the challenge S is for Santa - NOT red at ABC Christmas Challenge
What else than red can Santa be!
But - then I remembered some old bookmarks I've had for a long, long time.
I had Santas in SIX different colours!
I must admit; my daughter had to help me to choose which one to use :)
Her choise was Turquoise - then I had to find Cardstock, designpapers, stamppads and some embellishments in same and/ or matching colours - she was very helpful with that too... :s
The next challenge I found at Winter Wonderland: One layer card.
I have NEVER even thought about the possibility to make a one layer card - but it was really funny!
Having "so little space to fill" I had to find a sketch to work after.
I found a great sketch at
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge
- a sketch with many possibilities :)
The backside of the card. I think it is really cute and very simple, I have to show it, though I couldn't get the picture the right way...

Happy Halloween

I have made a card for halloween :)
Isn't she cute, this whitchy little Tilda :)
I've coloured her with watercolourpencils, and attatched her to the card with 3D-foampads.
I've used black and deep violet cardstock (Bassill)
The designpapers are mainly from Basic Grey
I've used shrinkfilm to make the tiny bats on the inside and the Tildawitch on the inside.
After I've shrinked the figures I put som Glossy Accents on them.
I've sewn around all the panels.
The inside of the card - quite simple, I've only distressed the edges with Distress black soot, and a violet and pink colour, just to soften it a bit...
(and put in a tiny little Whitch in a corner...)
Papers used on the inside are from Rusty Pickle

closer picture of the bats

I'll put this card into the challenges at
SewManyChallenges #26 - Happy Halloween
Just Magnolia Week 72 - Sketch
Magnolia Stamp Lovers #12 - Halloween
Nordsalten-hobbyklubb #13 - Wings

Tea light card with pink Tilda

At StampARTic they have a tutorial for a new kind of Tea light card. (New for me, anyway)...
The tutorial was so good, and explained every step so well that I didn't have any difficulties making the card :)
On the front of the card I've followed the theme for this weeks challenge at
Die Cut Dreams Christmas Club: "Christmas Tilda in Pink".
4 of the stamps are from Magnolia, the textstamp I really can't remember where I've got from :(
The motives are coloured with ProMarkes (mostly different pink colours...)
In the background I've used a paperdoily that I won in a challenge earlier this summer ( :D )
I've also used lots and lots of 3D-foampads to build up some of the elements.
Underneath the image I have an organza ribbon to tie
You may have guessed it already, but this goes to the challenge at
Inside the card there is a box that takes 6 tealights. The opening is on top of the box, and I have attatched a ribbon just to make sure it doesn't open (and for decoration, of course).
On the left inside I've made room for a tag, for a christmas greeting :)
Making a christmas card in pink was a new experience for me, and it was really fun too, moving a bit outside the comfort zone ;)

Christmascard with Snowman

Isn't it strange how a papercrafter can remember almost every paper one have, somewhere in ones shelves and drawers, but forget to buy milk or bread or other necessities!
When I read about the challenge at Winter Wonderland i came to remember the papers from Carol Wilson that i bought "ages ago" :D
I used the sketch from the latest challenge at Sketchy Colors, and the theme from the challenge at Sweet Stampin' Challenge "Winter wonderland", and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out :)
On the inside of the card I stamped a greeting (with a stamp I got for my last birthday from my good friend Lisbeth - Thanks a lot, I really love that stamp :) )
It also has place to write a short personal message...
I'll send the card to the challenges at:
Material list:
Cardstock: Bassill
DP: Carol Wilson and Nille
Organzaribbon
CrystalGlitter
GlossyAccents
Stamp: "God jul og godt nyttår" ("merry christmas and a happy new year"), from Exchangeable Clear Stamper,
Textstamp on inside of card from Kort & Godt
3D-foampads
The Snowman is an image from Carol Wilson.

Christmascard in violet and gold

Oh, did I have a good time making this card!
I've distressed, brushed, sprayed with (gold)paint and embossed :)
The image is a stamp (from Kort & Godt) of the christmascarol "Deilig er jorden", my favourite christmas carol.
I stamped the same text on shrinkfilm - I worked a bit to get the edges curved and golded - to use as a decorative element at the card :)
Almost everything used at the card are things I've had for years. The only new thing is th designerpaper from Crafty Individuals.

The sketch I worked after I found at Sketch Saturday, it may be hard to see, but all elements of the sketch ARE there :)
At Bah! Humbug! this weeks challenge is "christmas carol or song", so I think I'll participate in that challenge too.

Tag-holder

At Christmas Stampin' All Year Long they have a really fun Tag-holder-tutorial -challenge this week. Here's mine, that I made in the weekend :)
I tried to find som "icy"-coloured papers, to fit the snowman on one of the tags, and punched some snowflakes (MS punch) that I sprayed with Glimmermist.
I also stamped two christmasgreetings and a "winterrecipe" on shrinkfilm, and used a charm tied to the ribbons on the tags :)
All edges are brushed with an Iceblue stamppad.
I'm quite pleased with my tag-holder, and may even make some more tags to fill in it, before christmas.

Rosa bursdagskort

Birthdaycard

In a few days time, the last girl in Heddas class has birthday, and with only one more to go in Sanders class... then what!
At this card I've used Tilda with a skippingrope. I cutted the rope from the stamped image and used a thread instead :)
Tilda is coloured in different shades af Lilacs, as are the papers, ribbons and lace, so this card should fit into the challenges at Sukkersøtt and at Totally Tilda this week :)
But where is the lace...
...inside the card :)
Because the card is for a child I've tried to make it simple - without too many detail that easily can be picked off :)

Sjokoladehjerter i høstfarger

Many challenges these days is about fall colours, and
I have decorated a box filled w ith chocolate hearts (Freia melkesjokoladehjerter).
I plan to have it as a decoration at the coffeetable throughout the autumn, and to send it to a few challenges :)
Magnolia Stamp Lovers - Fall Colors Challenge
Scrappehuset - Farger som kan minne om høst
Sketchy Colors - Red/ Orange/ Yellow

The (always lovely) Tilda stamp is coloured with watercolours.
I've used flowers from Prima that I've sprayed with a little bit of glimmermist.
I've also used Spellbinders Contemporary Hearts.
The leaves are just one of SO many things I keep stashed in my drawers and don't remember where come from :s

Welcome for a cup of coffee
:)

A blanket of white - julekort

I love making christmascards, and I think these two Magnoliastamps (masked together) suits nice for a card that tells one of the things I want for christmas :)
The textstamp "A blanket of white" is from TPC Studio.
Don't we all dream about a white christmas... :)
I'll put the card into the challenges at
Winter Wonderland - "All I want for christmas"
Christmas Card Challenges - "Sparkle and shine"
Just Magnolia - Sketch
The ABC Challenge - C is for Charms

Altered eske

Utfordringen hos Vintage udfordring denne gang lyder "Altered Items" .

Tilda in red

This christmascard is for the challenges at
and
Thats just so cute "Ser du rødt"
I found working with red a bit hard as it's not a colour I use very much of - maybe a challenge in itself, working a bit outside my comfort zone :)
At this card the sketch is completely my own :D
Material list:
Cardstock: Bassill
Stamp: Magnolia
Martha Stewart border punch
red and white buttons
cinnamon sticks and anise
wax seal
gold thread
red ribbon
ProMarkers

mandag 23. august 2010

tirsdag 17. august 2010

Tag

I've made a tag for this weeks challenge at Winter Wonderland.
The challenge there is "Tag it!", and for a long time I thought about making a card with a tag on in some way. After a while I realized that for christmas I put tags on all the presents I give away, so why not make a TAG only! So that what I did, and this is how it turned out :)
The Stamp is from Magnolia.
All cardstock and papers used are bits, pieces and scraps.
The ribbon and lace are things I've had for a long, long time (in a drawer:) )
I've made the "buttons" from scrappapers.
The tiny, tiny button saying "God jul" (in the left corner) is a leftover from another project.
All edges are distressed with Distress Ink Old Paper.
The backside of the tag, where I've used a stamp from Kreativ Hobby, saying "To... From..."

mandag 16. august 2010

Back to school

This card I've made for the challenges at:
Skisseboden (Sketch)
Stampin' for the weekend (Back to school)
Sew Many Challenges (stitching... faux or real)
I've used my Hannah Teach!-stamp, and coloured it with ProMarkers.
The ruler and the pencil are Magnoliastamps, which I stamped upon Shrinkfilm, coloured, cut out and then shrinked it - funny, funny :)
The Designpapers are from DCWV and Nille, and the cardstock is Bassill.
I've stitched both the designpapers and the image to the cardstock.
The ribbon is old and have been put away in a drawer for a long, long time, but I think it fitted quite well at this card...
The inside of the card. I tried to make it look like (classroom)walls with blackboards on :)
